My name is Josh Gleason. I am the creator and writer for Draft Icon a site dedicated to the NFL Draft. I have decided that I wanted to get to the fans directly about who they want they teams the pick. Im am currently updated my mock and the it currently goes as such:
1.San Francisco 49ers-QB Aaron Rodgers-California
2.Miami Dolphins-RB Ronnie Brown-Auburn
3.Cleveland Browns-OLB Derrick Johnson-Texas
4.Chicago Bears-WR Mike Williams-ex-USC
5.Tampa Bay Buccaneers-RB Cedric Benson-Texas
6.Tennessee Titans-WR Braylon Edwards-Michigan
7.Oakland Raiders-DE Marcus Spears-LSU

With how my current projection is so far, I believe they grab RB Carnell "Cadillac" Williams. I think another option however could be Antrel Rolle to strength the secondary. Cast your vote for who you think the Cards should draft and check out the site!

Rolle and move him to FS.
Rolle at FS??? No, that won't work. It acutally could if he bulked up 10-20 lbs. but that would drop him to a 4.50 but he has great size and will be a great CB in the NFL with his abilities to tackle and be a shut down CB.

You are crazy, he is perfect size for a free safety, he is a playmaker, and he can lay the wood. I am officially chairing the "Draft Antrell Rolle and make him a FS" party. Who's with me? Sean Taylor and Ed Reed agree, he's the next big safety coming out of Miami...

Alex Smith. This team needs to stop putting band-aids on the QB position. The offense cant produce without a player at that position. Fully one half of this team is shut down without a QB. Any picks or FAs on offense other than a vet caretaker/mentor QB is wasted without first addressing QB in my opinion.

Sean Taylor and Ed Reed were SAFETY'S while in college. They weren't CB's. Rolle can hit, for a CB. He doesn't pop people like Taylor, Reed, or Roy Williams. He would be good at FS, but he has all the qualties to be a great CB in the league.

Disagree he'll be a good CB or a great FS. He's good but he's not blazing fast, he's better than Rumph but I don't think he'll be as good as Woodson in his prime because the NFL won't allow the contact anymore.

Put him at FS and our defensive backfield would be sweet.

Since we traded Shelton for Surtain, we go for Barron at ROT.

Well a guy can dream, can't he.:)

Acutally, that is an amazing equal trade. Dolphins get rid of some1 that doesn't want to be there and gets a great OT, and the Cards get rid of some1 that doesn't want to be there and gets a great CB opening up Cadillac to be taking in 1st unless Barron is left which I think he will, but if Cadillac is the 1st Rounder, then Wesley Britt or Chris Colmer 2nd Round.

As has been alluded to previously, the Cardinals first pick depends heavily on if they land a RB early in FA. If they get a back that they can plug into the startign roll with confidence, then I say they grab Rolle at #8. If they don't and the draft shakes out like you have it, then they grab Cadillac.

I'm betting they'll land a FA RB or trade for one, so my vote is for Antrell Rolle. Denny has said time and again he loves players from big-time proigrams, and they don't come any bigger than Miami.

To many warts on the other fellas... I take Ronnie Brown and don't look back! A guy who can run, catch, & block. Plus he's got a superior attitude and low mileage - you don't get that everyday. Just think Emmitt only taller...

Exactly!. It all depends on what happens in free agency. There are several players that could be an option at #8, so it all comes down to free agency. We don't know what's going to happen yet, so it's too early to guesss on the #8 pick.

Trading Shelton for Surtain probably means that we'll pass on Rolle. Signing Greise means no Alex Smith. Signing Shaun Alexander means no Cadillac etc.

But still...
Trade Shelton for Surtain
Sign Blaylock and go with the trio of Shipp, Hambrick & Blaylock at RB
Sign TE Mili and G Vincent
Sign RT McKenzie from the Jets if the price is right and we can afford it.
Draft Alex Smith and get settled at the QB position for the first time in long time
