I am not reading who might start the game against Cleveland. Anyone hearing anything from the Coach. You do not always recover quickly from a concussion. Even if Kolb recovered would he be the starter after Skelton came off a red hot second half. He probably threw around 200 yds in the second half and had a QB rating of something like 146. He must have come out of that game with the most confidence he has had since coming to the team. If it is me I start Skelton. He must have had the best game in a half of any QB this year for the Cards. I have been a big critic of Skelton this year but I am beginning to change my mind as I am seeing some things from him that indicates he may develop into a good QB. Not just the strong arm and footwork and an ability to stand in the pocket under pressure but an improving ability to be a QB in the NFL. He needs some consistency and confidence. He showed both in the second half this week.

The Cards are a favorite this week against Cleveland. I suspect you could have made some money this year had you bet on the Cards every game against the spread.

If Kolb is healthy, he will start. But this might be his second concussion this year. It is starting to be a pattern with him, going back to his Philly days.

skelton, healthy kolb or not.

I am fine with going into next year with a training camp competition for starter but if we anoint kolb and say "he needs a full year" we are fooling ourselves.

Kolb needs to start a couple of series and then come out. Skelator plays better as a reliever.

kolb: no presence in the pocket+afraid of pass rusher+no leadership+injury prone+soft+cant play with pain= no franchise qb

If Kolb is completely healthy, then start him. Otherwise, go with Skelton & let Kolb rest for the tougher matchup next week on the road with Cincy. Skelton is definitely a better QB at home than on the road.

Go with Kolb. I know Skelton looked good in this past 49er game but he is not capable of that kind of performance week in and week out...yet. That game got him back on track as far as his development for the future but Kolb is better right now. Only a little better, which is sad at this point in the season, but still better.

So when Kolb sucks or suffers another "injury" we put Skelton back in? I think it's time to be building Skelton up.

Don't care anymore...

They both have issues. I still like Skelton due to his better fundamentals and pocket presence but Kolb played a better 2nd half against Dallas, probably his best performance as a Card.

Kolb if healthy. He had a good second half against Dallas. Need to see if it continues.

Doesn't really matter. I'm good with both of them.

It's Kolbs to lose.

He SHOULD have an improved O line with draft picks an free agents. His running game should be improved with Ryan Williams.

If Kolb fails to carpe diem then Skelton will be just fine.

Don't bother to argue Skelton fans are gonna argue he is better regardless if that's reality or not. They forget the defense has Played lights out in every game Skelton supposedly won... This defense is far more responsible for our current streak than Skelton he did have a pretty good half Sunday but much of that was our receivers rac that built his numbers. Lucky he didn't turn the ball over more than the 3 times he did! Kolb is better and should start if he is healthy we still need to see what we got in Kolb so we know what direction we need to move in the offseason! I feel like if the season started today we would comPete for the division it's just too bad it took almost half the season for the defense to start gelling and playing well! On a side note I so wish they were on the phone with Todd Haley today to see if he would be interested in a OC position!

We have to start Kolb if he is healthy. Skelton had a good second half but got a few fortunate breaks. We have to see what Kolb has, and don't tell me it is not about $$$$, it is. If he can't do it for us, we will be looking at acquiring another QB.
