Who the hell is David Johnson and why is he scoring all the Cardinals' touchdowns?

Just a reminder that Andre Ellington averaged 7.04 yards per carry (25 att) and 9.82 yards per reception (17 rec) with 2 TDs through five games of his rookie season.

There's a ton of reasons why a lot of backs are exceptional in situational roles (where they'll excel because teams have less tape on them and they're being put in positions that best fit their skill set without the wear and tear of playing every down).

David Johnson is averaging 2 fewer YPC (18 attempts) and his receiving total is skewed by a small sample size (9 rec with a 55 yarder mixed in).

Yeah in a sense the goal is to be good enough that we can continue to use DJ and Ellington in "special" roles this year. That's why Chris Johnson playing so well is so huge to us.

:biglaugh:

I've seen him creep in a few times this year.

Btw no way smelly had DJ ranked up there with Edge & Beanie ;)[/QUOTE

Fumbling is the only concern I have and I have no questions about his future because unlike Ellington the guy has size and more physically adapt at being a every down back and that is black and white :)

I don't have any complaints about any of our RBs. I think Arians is using all of them perfectly with the right balance for each. I think Ellington will get more carries this week than last. I believe they wanted to make sure he was fully recovered & eased him in slowly.
