I would rather watch the "Mamma's Family" marathon on TBS.

Wimps get 8 home games again. Can't even go on the road for non conference games. Utah St? OOOOH! Tough matchup! Troy St again? Keep padding that schedule. Sorry but unless they have equal number of road games to home games, the schedule is a joke.

This is exactly why universities should be able to schedule their own games. Let the NCAA do it and let's put some teeth in everyone's schedules.

I agree completely.

It's not their fault schools pull out of playing them home and away.

Got that right! And when teams like Michigan and Fla. State wont play you...what can you do.

Have they offered to play at Troy St? Doubt it. Money doesn;t add up (alot of big time programs feel the same way. The rule simply should be, you HAVE to schedule home/home games AND it is written in stone once it is agreed upon. I get VERY irritated with this crap of getting 8 home games.

Only four more years until ASU gets something else to hang their hat on.
What will it be then?
Another Rose Bowl APPEARANCE?
Maybe sweet, sweet revenge against New Mexico State (7-35 for those of you who've erased that one from the memory banks).

You schedule the Omaha School for the Blind Haircutters each year at home.

I will say one thing. Many years ago, I went to Illinois/Nebraska in Champaign and walking through the lot, the Husker fans were so nice. Even though we were all wearing Illini gear, they talked to us and fed us and gave us drink. Great people and the food was primo.

Their football team though? Overrated IMO.

Sec 11 I do like Frazier though. Is he coaching at Huskerland?

The motto in Lincoln used to be "We don't rebuild, we reload!"

That has changed to "We can't compete with other programs from out of state recruiting our kids! We must be able to pay them in order to compete!"

Pitiful...just plain pitiful...

Here's some scheduling for ya....

1997 Championship season:
Beat #2 Washington (like a mangy, Captain Kangaroo Lookin Coached dog, no less)
Beat #2 Tennessee. Poor wittle Peyton....

1995 Championship season:
Polished off three Top 10 opponents by an average score of 45-16 during the regular season.
Then absolutely killed The Vaunted SEC Champion Florida 62-24. We all know that the score should have been much much worse.

1994 Championship season:
Dismantled #2 Colorado 24-7
Went on to beat #3 Miami IN THE ORANGE BOWL. Note that Miami's defense had both Warren Sapp and Ray Lewis. No matter.

Nebraska has a football team?

Is that in the U.S?

Or is it like an NFL Europe kinda thing?

Who were the non conference teams those years? 94, Colorado was in conference, 95 you don;t mention who those top 10 teams were. Even 97 must have had Billy Bob's Lawnmower Repair Academy on the schedule...no way you guys had Tennessee and Washington and didn;t schedule a couple of cream puffs.

Talk about remembering things from years ago...this current addition of the Huskers is really quite pathetic.
