I say vikings, i still see Green Bay as a bigger threat to us for a first round bye.

Minnesota has a brutal schedule, after green bay, they have:
at atlanta
seattle
at arizona
chicago
new york giants
@ green bay

They'll have to earn a number 2 seed.

Plying Seattle and the the Cards back to back seems like cruel punishment to me. They probably won't be fully healed for our game.

Not only that, don't the Vikes play the Cards on a Thursday... A really short week for them.

Right now, I just don't care who wins that game. We still play both, and if we beat them both, then the outcome of that game is pretty irrelevant. If we lose to one of them, then I would want that team to lose this week.

We are talking playoffs. Green Bay or Seattle at their house would not be my pick. Any other team in the NFC would be better. Seattle should be out. If not it doesn't matter.

Does minnesota still play indoors?

Playing outdoors at TCF Bank Stadium for the rest of this season...US Bank Stadium (yes, another bank) for 2016.

I drove over to the construction site a couple of months ago...it's really going to be spectacular.

Gotta root for the Vikings to give GB another loss and then the Cards beat the pack on the 27th to knock any chance of GB having a home field.

The Cards also beat the Vikings here to have the tie breaker. The Cards have a legit shot at the #2 seed and still a slim shot at #1.

Any other team in the NFC would be better.
I really think deep down the Cards want another shot at Carolina.

On average, it's two degrees colder on January 24th in Minneapolis than in Green Bay (high 24, low 7).

I never root for a team that we may eventually play (unless it's to get us in the playoffs). Bad Karma.

Rugby has the best answer: I'm rooting for the Cardinals this week.

Personally I don't care who wins as long as we take care of our own business. Right now the road to the SB goes through Charlotte so how the NFC North shakes out matters not especially considering we play both teams. Beat them both and the divisional game, at least, goes through Glendale. I don't fear any team right now. Those 2 losses we have are looking more and more like aberrations. I can guarantee you that if we win tomorrow night, those other teams are going to start asking themselves whether or not they want to come here to play.

Also, I'm still not sold on Carolina. People talk about our schedule, they've played the NFL Least, the awful AFC South, and their own crappy division. The only decent team they've beaten is GB and IIRC it was a rain soaked game at that.
