who's the worst possible candidate? There's your likely answer.
Mark Jackson.who's the worst possible candidate? There's your likely answer.
If they hire Kidd, I almost guarantee it.Who ever the next hire is, they'll be fired by this time next year.
This is beyond pathetic.
Just think about it in the reverse. If a team was primarily made up of white players, would it be racist to eliminate black coaches from the search pool? Yes, it would.I am not, nor have I ever been, a racist, for reasons that I won't go into.
But isn't it realistic to think that a Coach to lead an NBA team made up primarily of African Americans
would best led by the same, particularly with the experience of having played in the NBA?
IF, and that is a big IF, he has most of the other qualifications to be in charge. Which Jason Kidd, for
example, does not.
I like what I read about Monty Williams.

The only way to combat racism is to deal with all of it. Racism usually develops when the majority is preferred over the minority.
I have no particular opinion about Monty Williams. But I want him if he is the best coach, not because of his skin color.
I completely disagree. I believe this is how racism is perpetuated. In basketball, they are not the minority. And Igor has been living in their world for two decades.I don't think it's always the same thing. It's human nature to be more comfortable with people that have shared life experiences. Minorities are exposed far more to our "world" than we are to theirs so ruling them out based on skin color would likely be racist but not necessarily the other way.
Monty Williams would be a good choice.
But just as important if not more important is to get actual quality assistant coaches in the fold.
The Kings are talking about adding Hornacek as an assistant for instance. Igor is someone who should be an assistant.
I would like to see Tom Thibodeau mentioned. I think a more disciplinarian personality might be good. He was also on nbatv a couple days ago talking about wanting to coach again and he gave the impression that he is totally open to developing a young team.
Did anyone catch if Suns assistants were granted permission to interview?
He's asking if the former assistants can interview for head coach. The Suns have no assistants anymore. Not sure what you're asking.

Due to changes from FIBA in the qualifying process for the upcoming World Cup and Olympics that conflict with the NBA, Prunty was forced to step down as head coach of the Great Britain men's national team after Eurobasket 2017. Under Prunty's tenure, the team went 11–37 with a 5–15 record in competitive games. Despite the lackluster record, Prunty is credited with creating a close communication culture within the team that kept the program afloat during difficult times, with at least one player on record saying he would not have considered playing for the team without Prunty as head coach.
I was. I caught the tail end of a comment on the radio regarding the James Jones press conference. It was something like former assistants will be allowed to interview. That's why I asked. It would be weird to let everyone go, then have them interview for coach. They must have been talking about all the playoff coaches. He's asking if the former assistants can interview for head coach.
My choice is
J.Crossover
If we have a spot at the end of the bench, I wouldn't mind that. I wouldn't give him the head coaching job, but I have no problem giving him his coaching start as an assistant coach.Crawford may be playing for the Suns next season. He was a good influence.
