Haley failed for a reason, but he warrants a serious look to see if something has changed. Chip Kelly is similar in that way. You know why his stint failed. Gotta talk to him to see if anything is different.
Kelly failed with 2 teams. One he shipped off all of their talent and traded for a QB made of paper mache while the other was a train wreck when he got there.

Like the Pats failed hiring Bellicheat away from the Jets? Lol

Haley is a damn good offensive mind & brings the tough approach the Cards sorely lack IMO. He may or may not work out, but several coaches learn from their past HC failures. He's my #2 candidate after David Shaw
If he’s a “damn good offensive mind” then why do Steeler fans complain about him on a consistent basis & the offense underperforming despite being loaded on that side.

Tomlin is still there like the 3rd steeler coach I remember in my lifetime. And is still young, I’m willing to try a matrix guy like josh McDaniels - as long as he stays true to fundamental sound football like Tomlin.

True, but he is a really good offensive mind, and had some success. I'm not saying you have to hire all of these guys, but they are worth a conversation.

How about Pete Carmichael?

Saints OC since 09?

Helped mold Brees into a HOF talent & the Saints’ offense have managed to be top notch for years now.
