He might and He might not be a good player. The thing is like Vikesfan has explain over and over again is "Green's system works who ever is quarter backing Greens system". With a Combo of Boldin/Johnson/Williams/Jones and Shipp will improve McCown chances of succeding. Who wouldn't want to throw to those guys?

Mike Williams, but he probably won't be there. But that's who I picked.

Eli or Taylor would be my second and third choices. Fitz would be there as well.

We are going to get either Eli, Fitz or Williams, and we are going to pick up a great player in this draft.

This is a deep, exciting draft and I can't wait!

The real question should be .....

who is rated 1-2-3. I believe if Fitzgerald is there he is ours. I believe if fitgerald is gone and we will take Big Ben or Eli, whichever one is left.
Truth is, in the 2nd round at #33, there is a chance a very good wr will still be available.
I saw an interesting stat. Twentyone starting left OT were 1st round picks. Perhaps it is really stupid to pass on a guy like Robert Gallery. That would allow us to cut Clement. Then go out and sign a guy like Chris Vallarrial. Shelton, Vallarrial,Kendall, Davis and Gallery would be an awesome O-line.

I say trade down... ONLY afew spots!

There are so many platers that would help this team, and they all seem to be at a similar talent level.

My first choise would be Taylor. Simply because defense wins games. I keep thinking about Fits & Boldin together, but WR's only get the ball so many times per game. Taylor would be on every defensive play.

Pluss Taylor would give us a shot at having Wilson(maybe) upgrade the third CB spot... That would be two birds with one stone...

:stupid:

I'm starting to jump on the Taylor bandwagon, too. Everyone says he has the most potential to be a pro-bowler in his rookie year.

Safeties play every defensive down, can wreak havoc with offenses by lining up in blitzes or different coverages, and make opposing recievers think twice about running across the middle.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but our last 3 pro-bowlers have been Boldin (2003), nobody (2002), and Scott Player (2001)?

I just want an IMPACT player, not a project.
