Rockets

T-Mac is too inconsistent and Shaq can guard Yao. The rest of the team is just average.

Denver,Golden State or Rockets won't do any harm.

But I would avoid Utah Jazz because the series can go to 6th or maybe even 7th game with them. They re playing great in Utah.

I would love to see the Lakers fall to the 7th spot and we slide up to 2 and Lakers end up losing to the Suns in the 1st round AGAIN.

We could beat Golden State, but it would take all 7 games to do so

Houston we could dispatch in about 5

No man, they mismatched Dallas but our paint players can dominate their talented but inexperienced center Biedrins.

which explains why they've beaten us by a large margin twice this year?

I agree about Houston and Denver. I'm pretty sure the Suns could roll past them more easily than the other playoff teams.

There are no easy matchups. The Suns will probably wind up seeded between 3rd and 5th. In a sense 5th is good because you have a good chance of getting the weakest division winner -- for example, right now Phoenix is at #5 and would draw #4 Utah, which has a worse record. At #3 the Suns will probably get either New Orleans or Houston. All of those potential opponents look tough to me.

Frankly I might want Dallas in the first round. I don't think they match up well with the new Suns, and Nowitzki and Kidd aren't exactly what you'd call clutch playoff performers.

Dampier has always played Shaq tough and Marion always played Dirk tough. I think the new look suns match up better with the Spurs but I would give Dallas the edge in a 7 game series. Kidd has been a great fit for Dallas as Terry gets to play his natural position now. A 2 guard that defends point guards.

man, my respect level for you just went up dramatically. You have to respect people who want to do it the hard way, and beating the tough teams/rivals.

IF the Lakers make it to the Finals, it would be bittersweet if it weren't against the Celtics.

I like the Lakers (if we can beat them again). That would be hilarious!

But at the moment, I just hope, we make the play-offs. It's just so close in the west, and it looks like, we need some weeks to integrate Shaq and get used to the new playing style.

You "hope" we make it to the playoffs? That's sort of defeatist; I have no question whatsoever of the Suns making the playoffs. A bit dramatic if you ask me.

so you're saying if they lakers get murdered by the celtics it won't be bittersweet?
