I personally would like the Mavs. They are very thin upfront with only Erica and maybe Bass up front. Additionally they have a PG that Nash can actually guard in Kidd.

so you're saying if they lakers get murdered by the celtics it won't be bittersweet?

No. It would just be another in a long, long, long line of heartwrenching losses or incredible wins against them.

lol @ people saying 'if we make the playoffs' thats just ridiculous..

i wouldn't want to face gs in playoffs on their homecourt thats like playing in a damn college atmosphere its scary..

getting the lakers or spurs first round and taking them out would be amazing.. considering mine and i'm sure all of your's hatred for those two teams..

teams i think we could take out in 5 would be houston or the jazz..

Anyone who is a fan of a West team who isnt scared of falling out of the playoff race is a fool.

We're what? 5 games ahead of Denver? Even the 62-win team of 04-05 had a 5-game losing streak. It can happen. Just one (minor) injury of Steve or Amaré, and we're in for the race.

So, yeah: I hope we'll make the playoffs. I hope we'll win the division. I hope we'll win the championship.

I'm not scared of falling out of the playoff-race, but I'm aware it's not too unrealistic to think it could happen.

personally i'd rather see another lakers pistons matchup. those two always have heated battles, especially since the upset in the 2004 finals.

which explains why they've beaten us by a large margin twice this year?

Warriors can maximum steal 2 from the Suns and that'd be in Oakland. They lost 6 straight withour Stephen Jackson in the beginning of the year and they lost to Atlanta at home without him.Same applies to Baron Davis. For them to be good play off team, each one of their players have to play exceptionally.

The question is; should they take the low road or the high road? With age being a factor, especially if Suns win the BB Sweepstakes, do you want them to knock out the Spurs or Lakers in a possible 7 game first round series and be able to rest winning 2nd or 3rd round in 4-5. Marions defense is gone and the longer series take its toll on Bell. This would risk shortening the length of our NBA Playoff vacation, but to be honest, I would rather see them play rested against Spurs or lakers, even if they have to lose the first round to a team that would otherwise beat them in the conference finals. I do not have a heart condition, but we've been down that road Neo. If they want to make it to the finals, they should be able to beat any good team. I hope they don't have to try to beat every good team. I respect and fear the Spurs and the Lakers. Hate??? It's a sign of weakness.

Easy Route:
Utah
Houston
Dallas

Preferred Route:
Spurs
Warriors
Lakers

man, my respect level for you just went up dramatically. You have to respect people who want to do it the hard way, and beating the tough teams/rivals.

IF the Lakers make it to the Finals, it would be bittersweet if it weren't against the Celtics.

I'd prefer

Hornets
Lakers
Spurs

That would be one hard earned championship.
