It's going to be a tense, hard fought, extremely close competition between the Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, and Arizona Cardinals.

I am going to go outside the box. I am going with the Carolina Panthers. I think Cam will get hurt, and Rivera coaching seat will get extremely hot.

I was just going to post that! Let the race for Tua begin!

Wouldn't it be cool for the Cards to draft QB with their first pick three drafts in a row? History baby!

I can definitely see that. I think Cam's worn down, and is likely to get hurt again.

My 5
These 3 are a tier below everyone else

Miami
Cincinnati
Washington

Giants

5th one is tough - could be any of the following - Tampa, Raiders, 49ers, Cards, Oakland, Titans, Ravens, Panthers

When all is said and done there could be a real race for #1 spot, 2 wins will be maybe to much 4 could throw you out of top10 for sure and with 5 you will pick out of top 10 100% sure. Not like this past year were you had a top 10 pick with 6 wins. And I would throw in the Colts, Lions, Jets and Buffalo in that whole thing. I'm not sold on the Jets being better without Bowles, the Offense may be a little bit better but the D will regress so... basically they have to hope for wins against the teams mentioned above could accumulate up to 8 more likely 4-6 we will see.

It’s a good argument for a lottery system in the NFL. I’m enjoying watching Robert Sarver not being rewarded for trying to lose. It works in the NBA

I don't think tanking is a viable strategy in the NFL. In the NBA a single phenom can turn you into a contender. On a football team one player will not make or break the team, and their success is not guaranteed to translate to pros as much as a super star in college basketball.

I like this line of thinking since the NFL has become the very definition of mediocrity unless you're the Patriots. They might not be close to the worst team but a team which I think might disappoint are the Packers... I do not like the coach/Rodgers balance

Yeah, for all of my complaints, it's gotta be the Dolphins at this point. With AJ Green struggling to get back to health, the Bengals are up there (at full health I would have still been on board with them to surprise a little, but Zac Taylor doesn't excite me, and Boyd/Mixon aren't enough).

I feel similar about the Giants and exactly how much Saquon Barkley can do.

We're in the mix with these teams though, especially given our schedule, even if we're better on paper. We typically underperform when traveling like this, so the Giants and Bengals might be able to pick up a game on us.
Agree with your assessment have to add one more team that being the Colts with Luck retiring

I disagree. Colts are a well balanced team that can run the ball also. They'll still be a playoff team. Brissett is not bad at all.

I believe the Dolphins will finish last. I’m not sure the Colts will make the playoffs but they’ll probably be in the hunt.

Yep, the Colts have a lot of talent all around and were thought to be a possible Super Bowl contender with Luck. His retirement is obviously a huge blow, but at worst, they fall to the middle of the pack, depending largely on Brissett.

I have to go with a lot of the other posters, and pick Miami.
