The question I have and I've seen it before is why did they wait? Amare knew the knee hurt him. The Suns knew months ago the knee hurt him. Yet, the negotiated a contract, set up the press and then they announce he is going to see if he needs knee surgery. We lose Johnson and trade Richardson and now we wait an extra 30-60 days and lose Amare.

Nash and Marion have played together and few others on this team know each other. It takes time to put a NEW team together.IMO the Suns (my favorite basketball team) have blown up this team. Colangelo once again has destroyed a potentally great team with his lack of forsight. Example Barkley, Dan, Horny, Nash, Finley. I could go on. This organization has been building a championship team for almost 30 years and when trhey get close the tinker.

We should have known he needed to see a doc way before he signed. You check those things when you are spending 30 million. Heck you take a used car for a drive, you date before you marry and you certainly check out your biggest single player when you know his knee is bothering him.

yes they knew that his knees were hurting. they treated them and they stopped hurting. then they would start again. treat, recover, hurt. they didnt know how bad the issue was until they opened up his knees and looked inside. that is how you handle knee problems you dont start cutting before you know that there is a problem that cant be fixed with treatments.

as far as tinkering. lets see face it if they didnt tinker we wouldnt have Kt or grant we would be counting on hunter or outlaw to replace amare. no offensive but that wont work. while i can understand the hurt that you are feeling at least let the season play out before you bash them.

Johnson did not want to be here, even after the team became a winner. What can you change about that, Johnson likes losing.

If we did not trade Q, we wouldn't have Kurt Thomas on the roster and our starting center would have been Voskuhl. I don't know about you but I glad that they did tinker with that.

You should watch the scrimmage video, towards the end of it they have the trainer talking about Amare and his treatment. Then watch the video that has the reactions to the surgery. BC talks at length, then there are comments from D"Antonin, Nash and Marion. BC talks about the whens, whys and what is to be.

OK, Hornacek was traded to get Barkley, Nash for what eventually became Marion, Finley for Kidd (who, after the McDyess trade), looked like a good up and coming team.

I see where you're going and it's tough, but I don't consider what happened this summer to be blowing up the team. I guess we may never know how it would have worked, though.

I was wondering if Amare's knee situation motivated him to stop pushing for the 3 year out clause in his contract and just sign the 5 year extension.

Look, I'm 2001 a space oddity.
