He is a guy who some teams are saying would be better as a WR. He is certainly no QBOTF. We will be in a rough spot if he is the guy trying to be the savior.

I agree. A qb that can only scramble cannot succeed in the NFL.

I would not draft him unless he was willing to convert to wr.

Obviously you can have your opinion but I disagree. This ******** nonsense about WR is just that ******** and nonsense.Lamar Jackson needs Pro Coaching as does every QB in this draft.Lamar Jackson has a great arm, tremendous athletic ability,a great attitude and work ethic and a desire to improve. As for Jackson being a QBOF I would rather have Jackson than the overrated mouthy Mayfield who is going to fall flat on his face in the NFL.That my opinion and I watched Lamar Jackson for 3 years.

Jackson is one of the most inaccurate passers coming into the draft. His career completion percentage is 57%. Not good against sub standard competition.

It's hard not to salivate at "Michael Vick 2.0," as I've heard him called more than a few times. Especially when he's got a good shot of being available to us without having to sell the next three years of our drafts, unlike the other guys.

His potential is sky high, which is certainly more exciting than the more run-of-the mill styles of Rudolph/Lauletta/Falk, which are the other realistic candidates we're looking at when it comes to rookies.

Want no part of him. Inaccurate in college doesn't change when you turn pro.

His accuracy increased every season
Did you fail to notice that?_I guess you also didn't read about his receivers dropping 12% ofhis passes?

He also went up in INT each year. We can play this stat game all day if you like.

Yup. If we’re going to swing at QB, swing for the fences if we’re at 15 and he’s there.

My concern about Lamarr has to do with his frame, when he runs so much. Jackson and Bradford as an injury entry, is too risky for me. And I hope the Cardinals.

If we draft him then trade back. He will be there at the end of the first. Use the extra picks on OL and WR.

Sky high ceiling with basement level floor. Lamar is by far the riskiest QB prospect out of the top 6 QB's in this years class, but he also has one of the highest potentials, so having the right coach is vital for his success. He's a more electric runner than Vick, but with a skinnier frame, which is a concern. He's never going to be a pinpoint thrower...he misses quite a few easy throws, but he makes up for those awful throws with his uncanny running ability. So he'll miss two easy 5 yard outs, and then scramble for 50 yards the next play. I think him and DJ in the backfield would be an absolute nightmare for any DC in the league...would be so tough to defend with the right OC at the helm.

I am a big CFB better and watch probably 90% of his games and all the ones played at noon. I can guarantee over 3 years I’ve watched more live games of him than most on this board.

For a team as desperate for a QB of the future as we are... don't get cute. If you think you'd take him at 28, take him at 15. It's all we need to trade all the way back and have the Saints decide he's who they want.

I watched him for all three years and completely disagree with your opinion.

did you actually read that?? an EXE NFL guy and talking heads... but the only guys quoted who are actually on a team... said he is a QB on their board.... and Lamar himself said no teams have asked him... sooooo,....

What else is he gonna say. The rumor doesn’t just come from no where. I just can’t see him being successful given his accuracy. It’s not going to get easier at the next level that’s for damn sure.

Sounds like Logan Thomas. Let’s let the draft come to us and take him at 15! That’s how you do it!

the rumor comes from talking heads trying to create a story...clear for anybody to see.... it originated with Bill Polian, nowhere else.... he comes up with lots of crazy crap to fill air time.

John elway had two years in college under 58% passing... he turned out okay

Jackson got poo coaching at Louisville...if you have watched as much of them as you say that should be evident to you... just like Josh Allen got poo coaching at wyoming... but just a week of pro coaching at the senior bowl made a noticeable difference with Allen...and pro coaching can make the same difference with Jackson

the only legit knock on Jackson is his slight frame... he might get broke.... but his passing can be fixed... it is clear as day if you watch the difference between his in motion passes versus the passes when he stops and resets his base... when his base is set wide his accuracy is fantastic....even 50 yards downfield
