What else is he gonna say. The rumor doesn’t just come from no where. I just can’t see him being successful given his accuracy. It’s not going to get easier at the next level that’s for damn sure.

and the rumor proved to be ********.Jackson has better accuracy than Josh Allen,is more athletic than Mayfield (who won`t be throwing against defensively ******** Big12 teams).

I don’t like Josh Allen either. I watch a decent amount of him and wasn’t impressed. Scouts love the size and he has a cannon but that’s all he has. Rosen is the best QB in the draft hands down. I think this QB class is so overrated it’s laughable. This will wind up looking like the 2011 draft with Locker Gabbert and Ponder with Cam being the only good one in the bunch.

Most ratings disagree with you about Rosen.Everything i have read or seen has Darnold as top QB.

My grandmother has better ball security than Darnold. He’s been touted as the guy but he had an absolutely awful season. Lots of fumbles and lots of picks. That bowl game was cringeworthy. I have faith in Rosen in round 1 and the only other QB I like is Riley Ferguson but he can be had late 2nd or 3rd round.

lol... Sam Darnold is hands down the best QB in this draft.... Rosen, is the one who is the most "NFL ready"... but he is already close to his ceiling..... but Rosen had to give up tennis because of a bad shoulder..... Tennis....

It’s a mix our lads Walter football and drafttek have Rosen above Darnold. Kiper early this year had Rosen #1 too I don’t know if he still does or not. Rosen by far throws the best ball or anyone coming out and is the most polished.

GreatblueNorth has Rosen-Darnold-Allen-Mayfield-Jackson
CBS-Rudolph-Jackson-Rosen-Darnold-Mayfield
-Allen
NFL.COM ratings
Darnold 7.10
Rosen 6.19
Mayfield 6.09
Jackson 6.06
Allen 5.95
Rudolph 5.60
It pretty much looks like most think Darnold and Rosen top 2 guys
Then all over the place for Mayfield,Jackson,Allen with Rudolph pretty much a afterthought .

Because this O-line is a Siv, he will be there at 15 and run his ass away from the pass rush, unlike Mr Glass and human Giraffe Man

I guess so many years of getting burned by speedy QB's like Wilson and Kaep. Makes us want a gamebreaking threat of our own. Force the opponent to scheme around the dual threat of throwing the ball and also keeping contain to stop the QB from running. Brings a whole other element to the Cards offense. Never had to worry about Warner or Palmer running the ball - it would be nice to at least present that option to opposing defense.

Also its not like Keim will draft a stud here with 15, look at the picks he makes Reddick, Kmedieche, Cooper, Brandon Williams, Troy Nicklaus. I like the risk reward of it. It would probably fail, but so will the guy he drafts who just switched positions or the small school guy from buttlick University. Go for it. Bradford will be broken and Glennon is garbage

it’s not that I love Lamar, I just think he has the best chance to have success of any of the qbs in this draft and I don’t think we have to move up to get him. We may actually be able to move back a couple spots to get him. I really wanted Teddy B as our veteran, if he can stay healthy he’d be a quality starter on the cheap.

From what I’ve heard, McCoy would adapt an offense around Lamar to accentuate his strengths and hide his weaknesses. That can win us games next year, not potentially 2-3 years down the road like I think the other rookies would need.

The main reason I want Lamar is that teams will have to designate someone to spy on him. That spy will most likely be a LB or S, Which means David Johnson will have a better chance of being open and Larry Fitzgerald also have a better chance of being open across the middle.

I liked him with the Heat, hated him with the Lakers.

I won’t challenge for the most, but I’ve watched many of his games this year and last. He’s a legitimate prospect. On the plus side he did improve completion percentages at the same time the team’s offensive personnel was in decline. That’s very hard to do. It’s harder if you don’t have a great QB coach. The coach’s son is not usually a great choice. He can throw the entire tree easily. He needs to work on technique, but I’m told he takes coaching well. He’s very smart and works hard. He learned this season to play through adversity. That helps. He is a quality runner. The best of this year’s class

On the negative his running is a concern. If you have seen the sports science show, the speed/strength in the NFL makes the force of impact substantially higher. This guy is not Cam Newton. He’s likely to get a significant injury at some point. It may not be from running, but running increases the danger. I think he can avoid a serious case of happy feet but it will take time. I saw little evidence of him being able to read defenses. He need to be more precise in ball placement on throws. He’s two years from being a successful NFL starter. I believe he’ll get a shot to start. Hopefully from a patient team. The Cards signing 2 QBs tells me he’s on their radar.

I agree mostly.I think a big part of Jackson`s problems with reading defenses was not having the time to be able to go thru his reads. His offensive line was pretty inconsistent (a Redshirt Freshman at Center,A true Freshman at OG part of the year and disaappointing season from the entire OLINE..Real PRO coaching will help step his game up even more.Jackson was running for his life more often than not.A poor running attack and iron hands receivers didn`t help.Jackson was pretty much the entire show.He did not have the benefit of playing behind a offensive line with several pro pro prospects. He had one guy (Geron Christian) who is a mid rounder at best on his OLINE.Nobody else on Louisville`s offense will be drafted.Maybe one or two will get UDFA at best.
