His jersey number I believe.

Like Chris Paul is CP3 and Andre Kirilenko is AK47 (GOAT nickname IMO)

Thanks for the input.

If it's his college number what if he is #14 here? What do we call him?

I just don't want to start using PP7 in my posts without knowing why.

I hate to be a party pooper here, but he didn't shut down every receiver.

Julio Jones had 10 catches against him.

Julio Jones had 10 catches against him.

They had LSU alum Ryan Clark on ESPN agani this morning and he was talking up PP. they were actually talking about Julio Jones and he said one year he had 3 catches for 100+ against LSU "but if you watched, he had one catch for like 70 yards that happened with Peterson on the sideline cramping up." So he actually had 2 catches against Peterson, and Peterson had 1(Interception).

He didn't comment on the 10 catch game but I looked at that one before as someone else said they weren't always on Peterson. It was a great game by Jones no doubt but that was the exception in his college career, he generally stopped his man.

It's a new sports fan thing, first time I heard it was CR7 for Cristiano Ronaldo, so maybe we can blame the Euros.

I like KC's Scott Pioli's take on players.

"
For us, there is some combination of best player and need, but it's not the same formula every time. It's not always 50-50. Sometimes it's 70-30. Sometimes it's 80-20. That's part of the strategy when you're on the clock - knowing what other opportunities are out there."

He also trades down a lot like the Patriots do and he's a real GM.

He's also big on football IQ, which is to say he values football smarts, which isn't rocket science but it does mean a player can be fine even if they don't test well.

For 89 yards...less than 9 yards a catch. Thats pretty respectable against the second best WR in the draft...also if you consider he didn't spend the entire game on Jones (most of the game but Alabama moved him around a lot).

As a comparison Jones averaged 18 yards a catch against Tenn and Auburn.

I heard Patrick Peterson on local 620 AM radio just now. He wants to wear #21. So will it be PP21?

:)
