Just for fun and to align our hatred into one powerful stream before the game, I ask you, why do you hate the Cowgirls? Below is a clip of one of my earliest posts in here. (way back in September :D)

[[[Me... Phx native, raised by my step dad who was a huge cowboys fan. When I was young he sat me down in front of the T.V. and said this is Americas team, Gods team, this is... while he was talking, I saw a guy take a pitch and beat everybody to the right side, stiff arm a guy to the face, spun out of a tackle, go in to the endzone, and give it up to God.

Who is that? What team is that I asked. He said "that's ""da bears"", don't mind them." So obviously I had my favorite team, the one that was whoop'n on my step daddys cowboys. This was all before we had a squad.

Then came the Cards, my very own team. That's the way I have always felt about the team. So when I found this forum I was happy! Folks that know more than me and won't make fun of me for it? I know enough to speak the language as far as history and all but I've learned so much in here in a short time.]]]

(back to now) That was basically the first game I ever sat down and watched. After that game, I had to root for Chicago. A couple years later Da Bears won the Superbowl. I still dig the Bears but I would gladly jack every one of their good players, and make them Cardinals. Regardless of how it left Da Bears, this is home town.

But then my hatred for Dallas along with the 9ers grew to a whole new level with Montana, Aikman, and Young. All the losses we endured while they took Superbowl after Superbowl. I just hate them.

Happy Holidays and lets whip some Cowgirl ass!

I was indifferent to the Cowpokes until the first Cowpokes/Steelers Super Bowl. My brother and I bet each other. I had the Pokes and he had the Steelers. The stake was that the loser had to wash, dry, and put away the dishes for a week. I lost. This was also the same year I became a Card fan. But what really made me hate the 'Pokes were the fans. Especially the front runners that only seem to come out when they're winning.

Some people ask "Why do you hate the Cowboys?", I ask "Why not?". And I've yet to find a convincing answer to that question. Seriously though, it was a combination of Jerry Jones, Hollywood Henderson, Michael Irvin, the America's Team label and the amazing "legal" history of some of it's greatest players (Harvey Martin, Lance Retzel, Bob Hayes, Larry Bethea, Dexter Clinkscales etc.).

I don't hate the Cowboys since in the early days this was one of the regularly televised teams shown in Phoenix. I lived most of my life here. I got to watch some ASU players like Bob Breunig and Danny White as well. Of course I moved onto the Cardinals when they arrived in the valley but it's hard to hate a team one once liked to see play. I liked those Staubach teams.

Because I became a Cards fan in the early 70's & the bird logo made me a fan while living in Dallas. Try living in Dallas your whole life & having "America's" & Cards suck rammed down your throat!!! I hope we kick their ass, but I've never been more sure we will get spanked than this year. Please, oh please prove me wrong Cards because I don't want to hear all the crap talking on Monday.

Growing up in Phoenix area back in the 60's, the Cowboys came pretty close to being our local team. Every kid I knew was a Cowboys fan unless their parents were recent transplants to the area (a lot of them, obviously). The Cowboys always seemed to be on TV and for the most part they were a fun team to watch.

I was as much a Cowboys fan as anyone, especially through the Danny White, Bob Breunig period but it was shortly after that era ended that everything went south. I didn't find it at all difficult to go from Cowboys fan to Cowboys hater, as a matter of fact, it seemed a natural transition. So natural, I'm a bit surprised to find that it wasn't experienced by everyone.

i grew up in so dak and of course i was a huge viking fan. the cowgirls always seem to have the viks number. what finally did it was when Staubach threw a long deep pass and the cowboy receiver pushed off and caught the ball for a TD knocking the viks out of the playoff, oh and no flag! i moved out here 25 years ago and when the cards came i became a huge cards fan. now the cowgirls are always beating my cards. the cowboys fans are one of the worst in the NFL. all those games at sun devil stadium setting next to there fans was too much. i snapped and that begin the hate affair. I'll tell you it was one thing to watch your team (viks) at the time on TV and just be angry at the TV but having to sit next to there fans and watch my beloved cards lose was painful. i will root for any team that plays against the stinkin cowgirls. whenever they lose i am as happy as if the cards won. oh and to add one more thing. along time ago they said that the reason they had an opening at the top of the stadium was so god could watch them play. morons..... i can't wait till they are 1 and 15

I grew up an LA Rams fan. During my football formative years (the 70's) the Rams would post an excellent regular season record only to lose to one of two teams in the playoffs: the Cowboys, or the Vikings.

Once the Cards came to town, both franchises (the Rams & the Cards) continued to sink to new franchise lows. I figured that if I was going to root for a loser that I had better keep it local. I still remember the old-man telling me "you don't **** were you sleep!"

Of course, seeing the true assholiness of Cowboys fans during my young adult life only further cemented my dislike for the alleged "America's Team".

For me it started as a child in the 70's. I hated that smug Tom Landry and golden boy Roger Stabach. Every week they were on TV and every week I watched rooting for them to lose! When the Cards moved to AZ it just intensified my disdain.

I only really started hating on the Cowpokes when we got our own football team. Going to games @ SDS and seeing mostly Cowboys fans--drunk, obnoxious Cowboy fans--initiated my hatred. Emmit Smith saying he was a "diamond in the ruff" after he got here merely solidified my dislike of all things Dallas.

Many years back I had respect for the Cowboys, they...along with Oakland, Pittsburgh, Miami,....and a few others, were the back bone of pro football..... I grew up a Raiders fan, and my very first ever pro game was at Oakland coliseum where I watched the Raiders destroy the Cowboys 48 to 3.... they had Tom Landry, The Coach, the man whose silhouette alone stood for pro football.
Then the team was sold, Jerry Jones tossed coach Landry out into the streets like holiday trash,...didnt even offer him an administrative position....it was the first among many moves by Jones to show he respected nothing,...least of all pro football. His only concern was winning. While I like to win, I firmly believe it should be done with a touch of class, something the Cowboys lost when they got their new owner.
Then came the crackheads, ***** chasers, wife beaters, drunk drivers, and prime time prima donnas,....and they helped to develop a fanbase, who, when faced with a championship team, feel it is necessary to burn down your city....a fan base who for some reason can never stop at friendly smack talk, but they have to make it personal,....a fan base who took over our house for twenty years at SDS, whom I hated so badly I actually taught my three year old son to throw ice cubes at the star, and everyone who wore it.
Throughout my lifetime I have known killers, drug dealers, car theives, and wife beaters,.....but the one thing that absolutely assures a man will not be welcome in my house,...is supporting the dallas cowboys. no how, no time, no way.

It started with dislike, then it became visceral. It's just down deep, like I was born with it

Always have and the never ending coverage of this team and their jackass owner drives me crazy.

It continues tonight as I sit here watching the pregame on NFL Network.

Well said, Oaken...

If you can't win with class, then don't win at all. I won't cheer for a bunch of punks!
