I hated #16 and #18 going out there and waving up their fans, and even going to the stands and high fiving them, when the Cowboys were kicking off. Man, I never wanted a KO return for a TD as bad as I wanted one last night.

OMG this ENRAGED ME!

I don't particularly hate the Cowboys - in fact, I like a lot of their players.

It's their fans that I hate - arrogant, ignorant homeboys who came in droves from LA and SoCal.

Agree with this. Everybody I work with knows I am a diehard Cardinals fan. I work with two cowboys fans. One is really good about it. Never says one word or not about the team. The other one is a real tool. He bragged all week how his "boys" were going to destroy us. So after 3 days of his smack I told him to bet on the game or be quiet. He refused so for a whole day I talked smack how he had no confidence in his team. He finally relented and bet me straight up.

Going to be a fun time at work tomorrow.

P.s. He is the site manager and supervisor for everybody at the site except for me. My boss is in Colorado so he cannot say anything to me.

You're not telling us anything new here. We knew there was one decent Cowboys fan out there, we just didn't realize he'd moved to St Louis.

I hate the Cowboys because when I worked for the railroad I had to work 12 hour days the whole week after we played them, steam cleaning the box cars their fans rode into town in.

Hate their cockiness, and sense of entitlement. But what I really hate are the front running "Arizona" Dallas Cowboys fans. It made me sick, when I was only about 11 years old (early 90s), seeing all the bandwagon "Arizona" Cowgirls fans at SDS. They just have a "sellout" sense about them. My friend was one, and I never could root for them. Even though the Cards weren't good.

I can never forget, (nor forgive), that a once-proud and deserving organization that produced such classy people like Don Meredith, Roger Staubach, Charlie Waters, et-al, then sold out to Jerry Jones, who so classlessy dismissed the legendary and inovative coach, Tom Landry for Jimmy and the criminals who almost turned the entire NFL into the same type of thuggery that has become the NBA. A classless and arrogant act that continues to fly in the face of convention in order to satisfy a never ending need for camera time and attention (no matter what lengths he has to stoop to find it). The guy who brought us Neon Dieon, the mouth that roars (Michael Irvin), and yes even PacMan Jones.

I truly loathe Jerry Jones, and his need for greed and glitz and glamour. The owner who preferrs to lounge in his luxory box until the game is on the line, then come down onto the field to coach the very victory in its final minutes, so as to be immediately camera ready for the post-game interviews. Jerry Jones who, when the owners voted Pepsi to be the official NFL drink, signed his own contract with Coke for HIS stadium, even though it flies in the face of the rest of the league. Jerry Jones, the arrogant, self centered fool who cannot possibly get enough camera time so satisfy his greedy needs. Am I being understood here?
Say what you want about jerry and jimmy. but together they built one of the best teams in the history of the league. better than any one team the cowboys ever fielded in the 70s....at least on the offensive side of the ball. it only lasted a few years because of free agency and the way it ended, but it was fun to watch. people forget that jerry jones carried on a legacy that was already in place. maybe it wasn't landry's style...but the other cowboys braintrust wanted all that hollywood-hype that comes with being america's team.

you are a true fan. I am annoyed by these cowboys fans as well. I never knew how many cowboys fans there were until I left the state of texas. I have always been a cowboys fan because I am from dallas and all of my family cheers for them. At heart I am a homer and cheer for all of the dallas area teams. I can honestly say if I were not from dallas I would hate the cowboys and their national attention that they get.

I know many other people hate him, but michael irvin is my favorite cowboys player from the 90s. I know they could not have won without troy or emmitt and would lose when one of the three went down. But I feel that irvin was the leader of that team(on the field). he got everyone ready to play and gave 110% effort on every play. you have to respect that because not all NFL WR's have that mindset..especially in todays nfl. off the field??? well lets just say that he helped ensure that the cowboys dynasty died faster than it had to. but it was already going downhill fast once jimmy johnson left. the players ran that team when switzer coached.

I used to write some comedy (just for open mic stand up) and one of my best jokes ever came via Irvin.

How do you stop Michael Irvin from scoring a touch down?

Just sprinkle cocain on the 5 yard line and he'll forget all about his team and the goal line.

Mainly -

- The arrogance

- Über coverage by the national media at the expense of other teams.

- Jerry (It's About Me) Jones

- Assumptive questions by Dallas talk show callers ("Big 'Poke here. Do you think we can consider the Cowboys a dynasty? Or just a mere Super Bowl shoe-in?")

- "Team Felon"

Regarding the Niners - Normally I'd loathe them because they're a division rival, but Harbaugh has quickly transformed them into a team that's getting it done the right way (i.e. well-coached/don't beat themselves). So I find it hard to hate them.

well i think if he was on cocain before the game there was no stopping him. maybe that's why emmitt got so many goaline Tds lol.

its hard to hate the 49ers myself because I don't see them as a true threat to do anything. but they are good and I think the NFL is better when they are winning.

They were a class act, until Jerry Jones purchased them,
their prior superbowl wins and reputation were earned fair and square.

I really don't hate them as much as the other teams.

What I wish is though is that some of these other teams fans would leave this state. Packers Steelers Bears Cowboys Giants Chargers.

I'm a Cowboys fan. (Grandparents were born in Texas and raised my dad as one. He passed it down to me in the 80's.)

I'll admit that a lot of Dallas fans are extremely annoying. Though a good amount have jumped off the bandwagon over the past 10 years or so of suckage. I'm sure they'll be back the second the Cowboys start winning.

As for BSPN and the national radio shows? It's all about ratings. Hating on / loving the Cowboys brings in the ratings. There's just a huge love / hate relationship with the team. For whatever reason there are very few teams in all of sports that have this.

I won't be going today. But I've been to plenty of Cards & Cowboys games. And I agree. A lot of the Cowboys fans are just awful. I'm usually embarrassed to be wearing a Cowboys T-shirt. We get tickets through a friend who's had the same seats for quite some time. The last 2 times I've gone we've sat next to the same couple. Both die-hard Cardinal fans. Good times. And we gave eachother plenty of crap. But on a CIVIL level.

I'm choosing not to go because, other than meeting a few down-to-earth Cardinal fans it's usually a terrible experience. Bandwagon Cowboys fans swearing at children, Cardinal fans retaliating by throwing garbage, etc. (My GF and I even got a nice "F YOU F*GGOTS" after a Cardinals victory. Nice.)

1. "America's Team"

2. "Hole in the roof so God can watch his team play on Sundays"

3. Fans

4. The Farve-like ******* session for Aikman, Irvin, and Smith, and those three persons attitudes, and personalities. Add Jerry Jones on to this....

5. The hate has been passed down for generations. So, tradition.

That is just off the top of my head.

Plus they suck.

1) I'm a Cardinals fan, and they are a rival that goes way back being in the same division for so many years
2) A native Texan who had to endure since a kid what the world knows as Cowboy fan, the most ignorant fans on the planet
3) The arrogance of the Cowboys, the self-proclaimed America's Team. The team which has not done jack or even met Jill the last decade and the media still intends to talk about them as if they won the Superbowl
4) Michael Irvin, nuff said
5) Lastly their owner. Jerry Jones is the epitome of what one with no morals and money represents. Selfish, big mouth, unbearable human being
