In August of 1998, I moved to Tucson, AZ. Before the start of the season, the Tucson Citizen ran a poll of which team was Tucson's team. With an NFL team 90 miles to the north, I thought it was a no brainer. The winner was the Cowboys. Happily, the Cards, even though we lost to the 'Pokes twice that season, beat them in the playoffs and made the TC look like a bunch of smacked you-know-what's.

I remember the days @ SDS when we were in the NFC EAST. I grew a nice passion of dislike for the Cowboys during those days that won't be soon forgotten. Besides who named them America's team?

I hate them because back in the day it could be 3rd and whatever and Staubach would get whatever +1. I hate that guy and always will.

I hate them because I've only ever met two Cowboys fans that I can stand and one of them is my Grandma.

For me it started as a child in the 70's. I hated that smug Tom Landry and golden boy Roger Stabach. Every week they were on TV and every week I watched rooting for them to lose! When the Cards moved to AZ it just intensified my disdain.

I feel the same way about Staubach especially. However, it's mostly local Cowpie Fans that annoy the hell out of me.

OMFG. I've hated them as long as I can remember, and I grew up in Texas.

Tonight, leaving the stadium, I made sure I told at least 100 or so that it is now official: Baby Jesus HATES the Dallas Cowboys! How else can you explain that extra point hitting the post on Baby Jesus' Birthday!

I grew up in Syracuse, NY, and have been a Cardinal fan since 1964, around the time the Cardinals beat the Yankees in the WS. My Dad was always a baseball Cardinal fan, so I convinced him we should also root for the football version. I actually rooted for the Cowboys when they played those epic games against the Packers in the mid to late 60's. They were the underdog. In the early day's the Cardinals were not in the same division as the Cowboys, so they weren't a rival. Our biggest enemy was the Cleveland Browns. Once we were placed in the East with the pukes, I began my dislike for them. I actually didn't HATE them until Jerry Jones bought them & fired Landry. Landry was getting a little predictable, but Jones handled it very poorly & Landry deserved more respect.

Because every bandwagoner who lives in this state and ******* about it cannot stand not having a local team who does not win championships - they have no patience, they have, no will.

These people also seem to double as LA laker fans for basketball. when asked, why are you a lakers fan and a cowboys fan....and have a devout hatred for the local team in the state where they settle and bitch about so much...

it's always, because I have family in California and Texas. Wow, so i'm wondering...what would be their favorite baseball team....

big suprise, why is it the Yankees?

I wish, my mom (who just got one year of sobriety recently ) loved a cowgirls fan. He loves them like I love women. I think his heart was in the right place, but I am loving this Christams. Homie won't answer my call. :)

Because Cowboys fans here are ********. The ones in Texas were pretty cool though.

Truth.

Yeah, I think it stems from being in the NFC east. Plus, I grew up 2 minutes outta Philly and, well, let's just say that Eagles fans don't get along with Cowboys fans much.

I hate them because I've only ever met two Cowboys fans that I can stand and one of them is my Grandma.

LOL. Similiar situation here . My cousin and sis are the only Cowboys fans I love. The rest can kiss off.

BTW, the Cowboys fans out here are some of the most obnoxious fans I have come across, and I have been to quite a few different stadiums over the years. SOOOOOO glad they left miserable, ESPECIALLY after cheering so loud at the end.

They are cocky SOB's.

F COWBOY FANS.

Man, the way they were strutting around you would've thought the Cowboys were 13-1 going into this game. They SUCK, just like we do, but those fans had to be complete jagoffs to be around.

Like I said elsewhere, when Feely lined up for that kick, I would've given away all of our 2011 draft picks just for him to make it just so we could shove it in their faces.

Man, the last two Cowboys games have REALLY been satisfying, even though we blew leads in both. Just to see those douches get SO elated, and then see them gut punched at the end of the game... PRICELESS!

My brother, who HATES the Cowboys and was watching the game on TV, texted me that I should remind those jackass fans that they were supposed to be a Super Bowl team this year. Um, NOT! :D

I hear ya. I did NOT want to walk out of that stadium a loser today. They were loud and not at all bashful about cheering. And, you know what I REALLY hate? When opposing players raise their arms up to rally the multitude of fans they have in OUR stadium. Man, that chaps my ass.

I don't. The only teams I actually HATE are the 49ers and the Patriots. I like most other teams. I kind of dislike the Seahawks but meh. I'm mostly ambivalent about most NFL teams. As soon as Favre retires, I won't dislike the Vikings either, so I don't even count them since he's all but done.

I don't hate the Cowboys anymore, they have been nearly irrelevant for the past 15 years.

I do hate the frontrunner Cowboys fans living in Arizona. Hopefully after another generation and more winning seasons this will change.

I hate the Niners and all their undue smack talk. Their team is a loser, but you would think they've won 10 consecutive Super Bowl titles by the way they talk. MEMO TO NINERS FANS: Your team has been in the basement, or near the basement of the worst division in football for the past ten years.

I also hate the Patriots because of NEM.

I can never forget, (nor forgive), that a once-proud and deserving organization that produced such classy people like Don Meredith, Roger Staubach, Charlie Waters, et-al, then sold out to Jerry Jones, who so classlessy dismissed the legendary and inovative coach, Tom Landry for Jimmy and the criminals who almost turned the entire NFL into the same type of thuggery that has become the NBA. A classless and arrogant act that continues to fly in the face of convention in order to satisfy a never ending need for camera time and attention (no matter what lengths he has to stoop to find it). The guy who brought us Neon Dieon, the mouth that roars (Michael Irvin), and yes even PacMan Jones.

I truly loathe Jerry Jones, and his need for greed and glitz and glamour. The owner who preferrs to lounge in his luxory box until the game is on the line, then come down onto the field to coach the very victory in its final minutes, so as to be immediately camera ready for the post-game interviews. Jerry Jones who, when the owners voted Pepsi to be the official NFL drink, signed his own contract with Coke for HIS stadium, even though it flies in the face of the rest of the league. Jerry Jones, the arrogant, self centered fool who cannot possibly get enough camera time so satisfy his greedy needs. Am I being understood here?

I don't particularly hate the Cowboys - in fact, I like a lot of their players.

It's their fans that I hate - arrogant, ignorant homeboys who came in droves from LA and SoCal.

I hated #16 and #18 going out there and waving up their fans, and even going to the stands and high fiving them, when the Cowboys were kicking off. Man, I never wanted a KO return for a TD as bad as I wanted one last night.
