I dont think thats really the case either. I think they both could be successful IE good if they weren't running behind a below average OL and had a QB that could actually play.
So what is the deal with taking the bEaN out after, seemingly, every run?

The Cards' system doesn't allow for a RB not named Hightower to carry the ball two plays in a row?

THT is not the type of RB to run into 8 man fronts in Grimms power Zone scheme.
He's the type of RB that belongs in a KW style put the pressure on the defense passing attack.

He runs well from passing formations, play action, outlet receiver, and picks up blocks. but He is no Marshall Faulk. But He is a good RB in that role.

Every team runs against 8 man fronts, and open up the passing game. its as fundemental as 1-2-3. If youy can't Cardinal up and force your will, you look exactly like this dead red birds do. Its an age old football fact. it just is.

its the difference between winning and losing, playoffs or last in the NFL in every statistic. The Bean can't do it on 3 carries or even 7 or 14, We have Thunder and lightning. But we see the lightning and wait 3 seasons + for the thunder. its out of harmony with nature.

Marty Schottenheimer would take this same team and win. He would have taken last years team this off season made the adjusments and had us into the playoffs. So would Parcells, Gruden and probably billick.

We should expect nothing less from our HC.

ok

look at MNM, Edge had 36 runs for nada. But Leinart was protected and performed well enough to win against that great Bears defense, that destroyed every other team.

Denny had the game plan right, disected the Bears, and then let em off the hook. The Steelers in 2007 was the last time I seen Whiz game plan and execute run first, pass 2nd game plan.

We started out with Beanie like Green Bay playoff game last year, than gave up a 3 score lead and won in over time.

Who cares. I was just speaking generally about what it "seemed like." :)

If you are going to quote me, please do it correctly. :)

And Dennis Green lost that game by 1) circling the wagons on offense and not throwing enough in the second half 2) punting to Hester.

And as soon as Green went to the running game to protect the rookie QB, he lost. Just like some people on here want the Whis to do.

Because he went to the extreme. they had 11 guys standing shoulder to shoulder like they were the Redcoats or something and Green still kept running the ball right up the middle. It was ridiculous.
