Blocked kicks happen as well but unless this team has another losing season I think BA is Teflon, nothing is going to stick to him.
I pick on blocked punts because they are fairly rare most teams go a season without one, and if they do, generally the next year they don't have one. it suggests that good fundamentals can guarantee a punt never being blocked.
For 2016, the Cards were one of only six teams to have one of their punts blocked. They were the only one with two.
For 2015, they were one of ten with a blocked punt. They and the Jets were the only two to suffer a block two years in a row.
For 2014, they had two blocked. They had company that year as 20 teams had a punt blocked, and four had two blocked
Suffice it to say: The Cardinal punt units have been bottom 5 for three years running.
Whose fault is that?
