Because he has moxie, short arms and body catches? I surely hope not... because I'am rooting for that lightning bug :raccoon:

Andy sort of reminds me of Curtis Samuel for the Panthers.

Another 4.3 guy that really had trouble using his speed downfield because he wasn't a natural route runner. Its taken until his 3rd year to start figuring it out.

I never saw him in college but I looked at a tape yesterday that showed all his college TD's his last year plus a few more big plays. I think there were 13 TD's something like that, about 20 big plays in total. 2 of them were plays where he caught a short pass, shook someone and broke it. 2 of them were slants or mid range passes he broke. And the other 15 or so were him running 5 or more yards behind the defense including 2 flea flickers(one against Georgia) .

I get the impression in college he just ran by guys and he's finding out that's hard to do in the NFL so he's adjusting. The 2 catch and runs were nice but he made one move and exploded. I still don't see the "wiggle" you generally need to be exceptional at that size.

I also see repeatedly he is a body catcher.

I remember John Taylor sat much of his rookie year he had 9 catches that year. He went to Delaware State. The next year we kept being told he's going to be really good they really love him. 14 catches. By year 3 people were like yeah right heard that before, and he had 60 catches, 1100 yards and 10 TDs. But this was a long time ago and with Taylor he was 4 inches taller so size wasn't the issue he was just not polished at all IIRC he'd only played organized football a few years

He has speed but does he run good routes, can he get separation? So far, with his lack of play, I assume he is not yet showing that to the coaches.

Sometimes commentators talk about NFL WR draft prospects as "he's the most NFL-ready." Isabella may develop but when you select a 2nd round draft pick after a 3-13 season, you would expect that this high a pick will be ready to contribute right away, maybe not as a starter but as a key contributor. Some playoff-bound teams may have the depth to sit a 2nd rounder while he "develops," but the Cardinals don't have that luxury. I'm concerned that Isabella was selected too high because of his 40-time at the the draft workout, and not enough attention was paid to his receiving skills. I hope I'm wrong, but some guys have pointed out on this forum about the need for more separation by the WRs. From my understanding, that's what speed is supposed to do for you. It's too early to call him a bust, but obviously he has some issues that need to be fixed.
