Crimson Warrior
Dangerous Murray Zealot
Hamilton is a football town, and the CFL generally isn’t a place for divas. It is a place where comebacks are celebrated, though: if Manziel plays with passion but without drama, a pretty proud fanbase may well adopt him.
But JF's problem is that he doesn't have the passion necessary to succeed. He was great in college. I guess it was the 2014 cotton bowl where he made the Sooner defense look like a bunch of eighth-graders chasing him around (it was embarrassing).
But he was getting by mostly on talent then, and now he's lost all the discipline he needs to be successful as professional. No passion = no motivation = no discipline.
I could be wrong, but I think he's just riding his college success to a few more paychecks. Maybe he'll make a few plays in CFL, maybe even have a few decent performances. But he's done as a starting NFL QB.
For his sake, I hope I'm wrong.
