Why only 2 TV games this Sunday?

The home games are all sold out, right? So why are we only getting Rams-Packers at 10 and Chiefs-Cardinals at 1?

I swear, if I live to be 100 I will NEVER understand how the TV games are chosen. I know we had 3 games in Week 1, which was the last home game.

I am not positive, but I think it has something to do with not putting a game on opposite the Cardinals. Example: If CBS has the double header here this week, the local affiliate will not show the game that will compete with the Cards game.
Now there is a very good chance that I am wrong, but that seems to ring a bell.

BTW: Rams vs Packers? Ugh, thankfully, I have DirecTV

Here is a good site that explains it all very clearly. http://www.gribblenation.net/nflmaps/

This week is a Fox doubleheader week, but the Chiefs are visiting which means it is a CBS game. Fox is not allowed to broadcast a late game in the "Phoenix coverage area".

Phoenix, Jax and the Bay Area all have late games carried by CBS, so those three areas are blacked out of a late game on Fox. It almost makes sense when you know what the rules are.

Now, in the past when our home games were never sold out, we were still limited to two games but I think the local stations had more choice in how they picked their games. Maybe.

And thats whay its not on. If its a home game and it is shown on TV at home then you dont get the 2nd game. But since we are the visiting team we do get it. Looks like its gonna be a two tv afternoon again.
