You said HOF. I didn't know the BJ one was in the HOF.
It's a HOF picture to me. Sort of like people calling Kurt Warner a HOF QB even though he isn't actually in the Hall of Fame.

Because They have both been running behind the same line under roughly the same conditions for 2 seasons. Tim has seemed to improved every year.
So if you want to get IMO an accurate comparison you compare what they have each done while both on the team and in the same seasons.
If it only takes you two years to know that Beanie is an "elite" RB due to his 4.5 yards per carry then that same standard and 2 seasons of 4.4 should qualify Timmy for the same accolades.
Personally I don't believe either one of them are elite. I think Beanie has the potential to be elite. But he has yet to show us anything near an elite level IMO. He needs to start breaking these so called game breaking game changing runs people keep talking about.
That's hard to do when he only gets five carries a game like last week, which is my point.
He had more carries than Timmy last season and in his first game back against the Raiders he had more carries than Timmy. Last week was a blow out loss. Don't know if you realize this or not but not many teams run a lot when you are down big and down big early. There was like a total of 14 rushing attempts in the entire game. Yet in that same time frame Timmy has 3 runs over 50 yards and 2 of them were over 70.
Beanie complaining is sour grapes.
I like Beanie. I like him a lot. But he is vastly overrated on this board.
This
so was Garrison Hearst & Thomas Jones. If the HC keeps trying to prove a point we will watch #26 star for another team. This story is playing out just like it did with Mac & his luv for Pittman.

Not even in the same ball park. I recall very few posters on here wanting to keep TJ or Hearst. They were largely considered to be busts. Except by me BTW. I have always stated that TJ never got a fair shake here.
Whereas Beanie a majority around here speak as though he is elite and should be a HOFer. When yet he hasen't really proven squat other than having potential.
In fact fan wise your comparisons are polar opposites.
Well that would make 2 of us that wanted both and yes TJ never got a shot to prove he could carry the rock. Hearst was labeled a highly touted/can't miss RB who unluckily had some knee issues & coaches tried to sneek him thru waivers. The TJ/Wells scenario is playing out identically whether you see it or not. I'm comparing the TJ/Beanie situation not Hearst.
See I guess I am just not one to annoint Beanie. I really like the flashes I have seen. But he has yet to do much to be mentioned anywhere near elite. And as has already been said in other threads and maybe this one. To constantly knock THT when trying to argue for Beanie even makes the argument less worthy. THT has been solid and has shown improvement continually. So to try and throw him under the bus just to make a point about how great Beanie "might" or "hopefully" will be just gets irrating. I am not saying you do this, but many here do and it really takes away from the argument.

BS!!
I don't think anyone is saying he's an elite RB yet. We'd all like him to have the chance to see if he is or not. Why not start the game with your best players on the field? You don't see Komar starting the game then bringing a better WR, even if that WR gets more balls thrown to him overall.Whereas Beanie a majority around here speak as though he is elite and should be a HOFer. To me it's kind of ridiculous, their using the RB that's clearly better to spell the lesser RB. Shouldn't it be the other way around? I know you like Hightower, I do too, but you can't honestly think the offense is more dynamic with him in instead of Wells. Plus, who knows what kind of offense the Cards wold have with a true horse grinding out 100 yard games , or is a threat to. I don't know if Wells would do that,I think he can, but I do know TH won't.
This,to me, would be similar to the Cards starting Breaston over Boldin last year. Sure Breaston is good and puts up some numbers but he's nowhere near the threat Boldin is.
BTW, I thought Jones and Hearst got bad deals here and I was always a Jones fan especially. But they kind of did the same thing and made him share time with Pittman. Just play your best guys.
I am.
I did. But won't do it ever again. He got hurt right after I spent an entire week talking about how great he could be.
Now I think he is nothing special and will never amount to anything in Arizona.
As for the sudden love for TJones I don't get it. The guy admitted he didn't want to be in Arizona and other than some good moves inside the 20 never did much of anything here. He finally matured after going to his third team.
To me it's kind of ridiculous, they're using the RB that's clearly better to spell the lesser RB.
Its not sudden love.
The guy was averaging 4.6 yards a carry with TB(his 2nd team).
He left via FA. Most likely offered the most $. From the Bears who obviously wanted him.
So what? The guy didn't want to be in Arizona. Didn't play to his potential here because of it. Hung out with that idiot David Boston. I was glad he was gone.
I could give a rats a... what he did somewhere else. It's not like other guys who actually played hard for the Cards then went somewhere else because the money was too good to pass up.
You asked the question referring to "sudden love" I answered you telling you there was no "sudden love" Always liked him.
You went on to say that it took him to his 3rd team to come around. I just corrected you.
Garrison Too? man the fans filled the new stadium we went to the SB on DG talent evaluation ability, and Whiz blew it all apart this off season.
The Bean should be competing with Chris Johnson and AP for rushing titles. but we have the worse qB in the NFL throwing 40+ times per game.
My head aint in the sand but I've been neutered by the powers to be or not to be a cards fan.
FEED THE BEAN, CARDINAL UP AND TAKE IT LIKE A FAN!
