Will AZ be prepared for a game the Panthers need more?

What?
put our 3rd CB on him....richard marshall is more than enough.

Thank you for turning Edge/Hightower/Arrington loose. We appreciate the effort and there is our running game.

No cheap shots just legit hard hitting

Yes, there are no cheap shots just our guys playing hard. I'm positive they never go in intentionally hurting anyone. Our players are way too classy for that. However you had best not take them lightly the game only stops at the whistle.

Thats your problem. Fitz and Q are #1s on any team, Breaston is a real good #2. Nickles backs are usually toast.
our #3CB is good enough to be a #1 on most other teams.

you have a respectable WR corps, to be sure, but it can be shut down.

we took care of the #1 passing offense already. we can take care of #2.

sorry...front 7 won't allow that to happen.

So are you leaving a safety back? I'm guessing so since 3 on each reciever and your claim of 7 up front leaves one to do...something. kind of leaves you open to the short passing game.

That's debatable, you are yet to see the number one WR corps. :)

you caught on. short passing game is always a problem. the thing is, we always manage to contain. no reason to think that we can't continue. we have handled better rushing games and better passing games. you bring a little better balance than some of the other teams we have played which makes this a slightly bigger challenge but i think we are ready for it.

You guys have a great WR corps for sure. But they do you no good when your QB has no time to throw the ball.
The Cards passing game seemd to do pretty well against Dallas, the Jets, Buffalo,Miami, and SF. Teams that all have higher sack totals than the 11 Carolina brings to the table. Demarcus Ware almost has that many himself.

True, and good point. But it doesn't change the fact that your QB will not have time to sit in the pocket and pick us apart.

carolina's sacks and INTs are low....hasn't seem to have hurt them in having the 2nd best pass defense.

ware has a lot of sacks and so does the cardinals but you guys have been allowing 220 yards through the air per game (compared to carolina's 168) and have allowed 12 passing TDs which is the highest in the league and tied with the broncos (compared to the panthers 5 allowed). you guys have also allowed opposing offenses to have a 67% completion rating (6th worse in the NFL) vs the panthers 57% completion rating allowed to opposing offenses (6th best in the NFL). the thing is...teams are throwing on both of us the same amount....about 30 times per game.

point is, while you guys have been doing really well, much better than the panthers, on sacks.....your pass defense has been much less than stellar. meanwhile, even though our sack total isn't near the best in the league...it's still getting the job done.

our oline has only allowed 1 sack in the past 4 games...one of those games that no sack was allowed being against the bucs who have been better about getting to the QB than you guys.

Warner never sits in the pocket and holds onto the ball .

Might want to check your facts on that one, it isnt even close to being right.

11 Sacks in 227 attempts for TB. 1 Sack per 21 attempts.
18 sacks in 179 attempts for AZ. 1 Sack per 10 attempts.

TB pass rush (includes QB hits and knockdowns) isnt even on the same level.

Dallas had an even better pass blocking credentials then your oline only allowing 4 sacks the whole season up to that point. Then we show up and get 3 sacks and 19 QB hits and knockdowns.

Just like you have confidence that you can make good Passing units look average and with good reasons and points to back it up the same applies in this case of our front 7 making good pass blocking lines look average with good reasons and points to back it up as well.
