Shaun Church article.Drafted in Round 3 of the 2011 NFL draft, Housler was largely under-utilized by former Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt. After missing all of November his rookie season due to a hamstring injury, Housler came back for his sophomore campaign and had 45 receptions for 417 yards (9.27 YPC)--he started nine games and appeared in every game but the regular-season finale.
His combination of speed and explosiveness, along with solid route running, should make him an asset to the offense. Housler was targeted 65 times in 2012, but only 48 of those were deemed catchable. His 45 receptions and three drops add up to a drop rate of 6.25 percent, per ProFootballFocus.
