Rumor is MEM wants to attach Parsons to any deal for Conley or Gasol but Parson's is owed more money than Anderson with the same amount on time remaining on their deals.
There’s no player or combination of players on the Grizzlies team that’s worth taking on Chandler Parsons.

If the Grizzlies offered Jaren Jackson Jr, and their unprotected 2019 1st, I still don’t think that’s enough to dump Parsons and those two are their best assets.

What rumor?

Conley makes 30M, Parsons 24M

Name one team that could and would match 54M$ in a trade for Conley.

I can't believe this is even a thought.

If we were sniffing .500 then maaaaaaaaaaaaybe, but the idea of a team 27 games under .500 trading for an old player, with a troubling injury history, on a big contract... it's just insane. It's the kind of trade that goes down in legendary sports stupidity.

they need to stop the bleeding, they are worse than last year

the roster is a mess without a starting PG or PF.

They had 17 wins at this point last season. The future is brighter but their record doesn't lie.

They are worse compared to the competition than they were last year at this time.

You may be right, but you also can't discount the fact that we have something like the 2nd toughest schedule in the entire league in the first half of this season.

i agree with ArizonaSportsFan, despite their results.
as i said:

this roster is significantly better than last season

Booker's still a stud and his assists are way up. Ayton is a valid #1 pick. TJ has significantly improved. Holmes is terrific. Bridges is already a top defender in the league. Oubre is solid on both ends of the court. Melton is an excellent defender. JJ and Okobo are excellent prospects, and Crawford contributes and mentors.

when our defensive unit gets its groove on their defense is as good as any team's

hell, Canaan, James, Chriss, Bender were starters last year, now most aren't even in the league. Daniels came off the bench, now he just sits on it, and everyone here hated Chandler

sure, harder schedule. but 6 less wins so far with only 2 at home?
and more bad starts leading to more blowouts?

younger. yes. but age and experience were not an asset last year
and the youngster's energy is leading our improved defense

what could it be? what could it be???

The issue right now I think is that 1) The Suns have holes at two positions 2) The fit of some players doesn't work well. Neither of these problems are going to a quick fix. Right now it's just shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I guess it's like trying to decide if it's worse to get run over by a semi truck or a tour bus, it really doesn't matter both are really bad.

The difference for me is that last year was painful to watch. This year there have been a lot of fun moments in almost every game. The results aren't there but you can see the potential down the road.

Way worse this year. I've never seen so many 20 point blowouts and bad starts.

This year is horrible considering the talent and the coaching staff who has no idea what to do with them. Losing Triano was huge. No way we are this pathetic with him. All you see from Igor is the same face with his hands on his hips every single game.

and i counted 7 suits around the Booker scuffle and Igor was not in one of them.
i believe it is right thing to not get involved, but some of the players probably don't see it that way

It may be necessary, but there may be a danger by waiting for a Point Guard.

If another team -- or teams -- lose a starting Point Guard to injury, the competition for the Suns will be great.

After all, we haven't been a desirable location for GM's, Coaches or players. And if Booker continues showing frustration, it will get worse.

The Suns are in a vicious cycle.

The holes we have would ideally be filled by veterans, least the open guard spot.

Hopefully fall into Zion.

Use remaining cap space to convince a big name FA to come to the suns.

It makes sense. Everyone says Jones is a smart guy, apparently he's smart enough to realize that bad is better than worse. We're in a bad spot, our immediate options are likely to make us worse in the all too near future.

The worst mistake this team can make right now is panicking because of the losing and adding a bad contract (Wall, Conley, etc.) to end the futility.

Get creative. Find a younger guy that the team thinks could at least be a passable starter until a better player can take his job. Trade for Delon Wright, Tyus Jones, Fred VanVleet, or someone that fits that mold.

What do the Suns have to trade that they can reasonably do without? TJ Warren, Bucks pick, Okobo/Melton, Bender, and Richaun Holmes. I like Holmes, but I think with more development from Ayton, he will be needed less. Plus as bad as this prospect sounds, maybe Bender could become Ayton's primary backup.

A trade for a smaller contract player, i.e., Tyus Jones, makes the most sense if the Suns want to go that direction.
