Milton is considered the best overall player available in free agency, he's going to get a lot of money and I hope we're the team to give it to him.

I say yes.
Being the shiniest turd in a huge pile of crap does not necessarily merit star status.
I'm cool with bringing dude in but his contract needs to be based on his abilities and not just because he is the only option. Would rather have two rookies instead.

Get ready to get let down. Nothing will happen day one. As usual we will let the market set itself and we will settle for “value”.
We’re not and we’re never going to get Hendrickson. With the strength of the draft being d-line and edge we can forget Williams, Sweat or Reddick.

We will once again settle for second tier “ value”, there’s that word again, and be told “it’s still early”. Wednesday or Thursday we will resign White and be told he was a priority. A “ big” signing might be a guy like Koonce.

Sprinkle in a couple of our own guys like Hernandez, Zay Jones and the likes.

I just can’t believe we are going to “be aggressive”. Our definition of aggressive is WAY different than this organization's definition.

I think we will and we will be disappointed that we did in a couple years . I hope I’m wrong and he is the difference maker this team sorely needs.

This is sad but true.. we are the most boring franchise in the league.. and it’s really not even close

Cardinal fans have been conditioned to evaluate free agents like it’s our money. “Oh, I’m glad we didn’t overpay for that guy”, and “ That’s okay. He wouldn’t be a good fit”.

Then we sit back and watch the big boys sign guy after guy as the media states “ That guy is a perfect fit” for someone else.

Yes Cardinal fans have been conditioned to be bargain hunters. The real teams have steak and lobster while we go to Steak n’ Shake.

I just don’t understand how people think he’s a difference maker based on anything other than the most recent game they saw.

He was their fourth or fifth best defensive lineman, y’all.

Yeah that’s my point, I don’t think he is and we probably overpay for him and by year two or three he’s a massive dead cap hit.

Yeah, I just don't get it at all. He was a situational pass rusher on the best D-line in the NFL. Massively overhyped player.

Maybe he contributed to them being the best D-line? Plus you will never really know how good or not he is until he's in a different environment where he is the main guy. So I guess we'll see. I like that he's young and appears to be a really good player

Carter looked like one of the best tackles in the league last year, im a bit wary of Williams performance playing beside Carter, Nolan smith, etc. I think we will end up overpaying *someone* though and the options in the front 7 in FA are getting really thin.

If nobody is sure if he did contribute to them being the best D-line (and nobody is), and they don't know how good he is, they shouldn't be paying him $20M+.

Eagles don't let players they think are good leave, look at the Zach Baun deal.

Not really a yes or no question IMO. Much depends on who else they can sign. I think they critically need to sign a DT or Edge in Free Agency to set up the draft. Williams would certainly be a target with whom they will speak. However, they might prioritize Sweat. The bottom line is they need to come out of Free Agency with an impact player, not just bodies. Can they get multiple players? They have the money, but they need to discover who would come to AZ? I think they need to hit early and hard.

I so agree. But we know how this franchise operates. Why should we really believe this year will be different? When have we EVER signed one of the top 3 free agents? Never.

We are all psyched up but I doubt we see anything happen that we would consider major.
Unless, of course, you have some inside info Harry! LOL!
