During the draft, the Cowboys may not have made a ton of noise with blockbuster trades and controversial selections, but they were certainly active, making two player trades over the three days. One involved a player for a draft pick. The other involved swapping two players. Second-year wide receiver Ryan Switzer was traded to the Oakland Raiders for defensive lineman Jihad Ward. Ward was a second-round pick out of Illinois in 2016 and was a Will McClay favorite, making the trade very logical. The question is, did the Cowboys give up the wrong receiver in order to get this McClay pet cat? Obviously with former Special Teams Coordinator Rich Bisaccia now in Oakland, this deal probably never
