Windows Vista (Longhorn Beta 1)

I got rid of my MSDN subscription a few years ago, there was just too much friggen paper work.

I am interested to know what the minimum and recommended hardware is to run Vista

I already got rid of it. I never could get the drivers to install on my test pc. There are some nice changes, reminds me of OS10.
Sorry, I don't have the info you want. I was testing for some folks I work for under contract. It's not at a stage yet where testing my software would tell me anything. I'll wait for the next beta version.

Yes, it's due to release in fall of 2006.

I read this in a crappy tech magazine I get at work, they're recommending:

P4 3 Ghz w/ hyperthreading or Athlon 64 with single or dual core
512+ MB Ram

thats just what they are experiencing when they are running the beta that is out now. that isn't coming from redmond.
