I must be alone on this but aside from his off-the -field injury Pace was starting to really bring it on the field. I wouldn't even consider trading him. At an 06 salary of $642,500 he is cheap and may come into camp on a mission to redeem himself. Think about the jump he made physically last off-season.

I agree. Pace is developing. Could be a major player in coming years. Johnson is the one that continues to dissapoint.

Johnson was looking good the last part of the season too.

You know, their are not a lot of balls left for the third-receiver after you give Q and Fitz theirs...

THE biggest problem I have with BJ was the drops he had early in the season.

I like BJ. He's not that bad, he just hasn't lived up to 1st round pick status. Let's just pretend we drafted Boldin in the first and BJ in the second and then we'll all feel better about him.

Who is this supposed to be?

She's the sister of Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn and girlfriend of Ohio State LB AJ Hawk.

Consider the benefits of trading Down - 1st Round: Greenway (LB); 2nd Round: Jacobs (QB), Lawson (DE); 3rd Round: Maurice Drew (RB/Return Specialist. http://www.dailybruin.ucla.edu/news/articles.asp?ID=35164

Like the idea but wrong guy at the top and in the third (i like drew but im not drafting a jj arrington clone to return kicks with out third round pick....)

I would rather trade down and get.....Mercedes Lewis (TE).....

2nd Omar Jacobs (i like this pick....he was a projected top ten before a rough year)

3rd round A DT like Obsobo (sp?) and a linebacker like Carpenter out of OSU with the third rounder we pick up for trading down.....

How about this group?

1. AJ Hawk

2. Gabe Watson DT Michigan-wide body

3. Taitusi Lutui G USC ( after the Rose Bowl he'll probably go higher but this is where he has been projected.)

4.Chijioke Onyenegecha CB Oklahoma -Femi needs a roomate

5.Cedric Humes VaTech RB -converted FB, the big guy I want

6.Darren Williams FS Miss State-someone to keep the position warm until we get Michael Griffin next year

7 Mike Garcia T/G Texas-backup who played all over the line

Since the draft is so far away, and there are so many factors before that point I would like to call my shot.

1st round : I would rather Houston get stupid and give us David Carr for this pick, but if the pick is to be had put me down as Lendale White, USC RB if he slips if not
Jay Cutler qb Vanderbilt ITS TIME

2nd round: Kelly Jennings Miami; Cornerback
3rd round: Leron Landry LSU; Free Safety
4th round: Robinson ASU; Middle Linebacker (nagging injuries will drop him further in draft than he deserves)

Using the Sporting News War Room Top 99 list as both a guide as well as something to disagree with, my early-line Top 10 board is as follows (number in parenthesis is where the War Room ranks the guy):

1. Vince Young QB (3)
2. Reggie Bush RB (2)
3. Jimmy Williams CB (4)
4. D'Brickashaw Ferguson LT (6)
5. AJ Hawk LB (5)
6. Matt Leinart QB (1)
7. Marcus McNeill T Auburn (16)
8. Michael Huff S/CB Texas (15)
9. Max Jean-Gilles G Georgia (22)
10. Bobby Carpenter LB (39)

Other guys that intrigued me:

Troy Reddick RT Auburn 6-5 317
Mario Williams DE NC State 6-7 285 [8]
Elvis Dumerville DE Louisville 6-0 256 (as a Middle LB) (45)
Claude Wroten DT LSU 6-1½ 295 (21)
Alan Zemaitis CB Penn St 6-2 205 4.50 (25)
Rodrique Wright DT Texas 6-5 306 (30)
Nick Mangold C Ohio St 6-3½ 296 (31)
Greg Blue S Georgia 6-2 211 4.40 (42)

I'd do that in a heartbeat. But, isn't Olsen a FA?
