Hopefully next year this team won’t have a top 3 pick. Sure you can catch an impact player like the top 2 defenders later in the draft but you have to get lucky. The Cards have that rare chance to get a player who can impact this team for 5 years. I’d need a heck of an offer to pass on that. This is a deep draft. It’s filled with potentially competent starters. Identifying Pro Bowl players is something of a gamble. The later you pick, the greater the gamble.

I'm not enamored with Edge outside round 1.

We should take a stud high or role with Sanders and Thomas and pick up a depth guy later to develop. I'm not sure any edge we take in round 2 are better than year 2 Sanders and Thomas.

Same. I don't see a huge difference between Sanders/Thomas and the guys past round 1.

The Edge guys I like are Anderson and Tyree Wilson, with Anderson being better but different than Tyree.
