Think how they feel, losing to the Cardinals. As much as I loved the win at the time, I’m really hating that victory over the Raiders.
Except we'd also eat 30M in dead cap space.
You're right. I was thinking of his total cap charge, when I said 30M$22m (dead money), and we gain $8m (his salary) under the Cap.
And if, like Watts, they can split the 'dead' money over two business years, they could add another $11m to the available Cap in 2023.
Can't they only do the split post June 1?$22m (dead money), and we gain $8m (his salary) under the Cap.

Why he will be the rookie of the year on offense. Then no one will care what pick he was drafted.Might not be bad if we can get multiple picks and then proceed to upgrade the OL/DL with the added picks, though I would not want to draft him if he was our sole pick in the first

I‘d be inclined to see how our coaching situation unfolds before I‘d write off DHop. A lot can happen between now and then.Hopkins clearly wants out. Is there a way then, or is he just gonna be here?
I'd like to draft DL/Edge and OL with the first two picks, but you never know who is going to be there.
I'm not enamored with the OL class overall at the top of the first. I'd consider Skoronski, but on a trade down and I'd want to add significant picks if the Cardinals went that route.
Odds are good skoronski stays at OG....dude has pygmy arms...That is my hope. Trade down with the Raiders and take Skoronski to start at guard and eventually move to tackle. Bank a bunch of picks.
Passing on a elite Pass-rushing prospect only to draft a Guard after going ILB, ILB, & TE with our first picks in previous years will definitely make me sure Keim is still making the picks. That is my hope. Trade down with the Raiders and take Skoronski to start at guard and eventually move to tackle. Bank a bunch of picks.

It's a tough move to make with two potential elite defenders on the board. That is my hope. Trade down with the Raiders and take Skoronski to start at guard and eventually move to tackle. Bank a bunch of picks.
I'm with you, but people are saying this draft is unusually deep. Trade down is a gamble with a big payoff potential. It's a tough move to make with two potential elite defenders on the board.
I've been watching the draft for years and the Cardinals haven't had too many great shots at getting a player on defense the caliber of Anderson/Carter.
Bosa was the last time..and in some ways I actually like Anderson more. Carter just absolutely abused single blocks and busts doubles with ease.
If the Cardinals trade down, it better be for a butt load of picks if either player is on the board.
And also with a big letdown potential.Trade down is a gamble with a big payoff potential.
I am still mad.. DK was still on the board.. everyone was probably screaming for DK except for our front office. An undersized Andy Isabella like WR? Oh wait, never mind, SK is gone!
Can you imagine the outrage on this board if we take a small WR in the 2nd round? An undersized Andy Isabella like WR? Oh wait, never mind, SK is gone!

Sure it's deep, but Anderson is just a frocking monster. You don't pass on guys that you think are going to be perennial All Pros at a premium position just so you can draft a guard, a run stuffing DT, and a third tier edge.I'm with you, but people are saying this draft is unusually deep.
