It's funny as I'm far more chill about the Rams game than the Jags as I expect a loss.

I get far more nervous for the games we should win.
yep

Jags game was one of those no-win situations. Win and its only beating a terrible team, lose and...........

Do the Rams even consider Cardinals as their rivals or do they see Cardinals as Cardinals see Jaguars?

Well, after touching gloves we can run around the ring, land a few jabs, avoid the left hook, right cross, and maybe, just maybe we're still upright at the end.

How about we just meet them in the middle of the ring and punch them in the mouth, and then see how the bully adjusts?
At some point you’ve got to stop the bully from bullying you. I feel we finally have a shot (not a great shot, but a shot).

Imo there can not be a beatdown. Sure I want to win. I think we can win. However, a beatdown would probably hurt the morale going into the 49ers and Browns games.

This needs to be at worst a 1 possession game late in the 4th.

I'll be OK with 10 or better which would be an improvement on recently

So that dismisses all the talk here of pressure cracking him.
yeah...you have to hit him, get him dirty... just getting in his face isnt enough. we need chan to finish like he did in week one.
a couple of "marginal" hits right at the whistle would help too.... I actually wouldnt even mind a penalty on that issue...would be worth it to get it in staffords head that we are coming for him.
with the way jones has been the past two weeks...and josephes early game plans...we might only see coverage sacks..which means marcus golden will have a good game anyway.

I watched that interview I have to say Kyler is saying the right things this year and I believe him. He said he's going to who's open based on making the right read. I might miss some guys here or there but I'm doing better this year making the reads. We have more talent so who "gets to eat" depends on the matchup it's not always just throw to Hop like last year etc.

When we drafted him I said my best case scenario would be a smaller right hand version of Steve Young. he's not there yet but he's making progress. The completion % is great, he has to reduce the turnovers, we're not getting as much run production but he hasn't had to and he's got 3 rushing TD's so that's great. he's getting the ball downfield more. We all knew he needed to get better at reading defenses, he has. He needs to be better in the pocket, he has. He still bails too early that's something to get better at. he needs to protect the ball better both picks and when he runs he's still carrying the ball too loose.

But honestly at his age with as good as he is, he may yet get close to Steve Young.

Joseph is fine. The DCs on this forum are always blasted.
Bettcher had the Cards regularly in the top 10, he was disliked.
Horton wasn’t liked. Bowles, at first wasn’t liked and criticized.

The Cards defense was great in week 1. They adjusted and shut down Cook in week 2. Week 3, they basically gave up 13 points.

It’s an offensive league. I don’t have any complaints with VJ. Weren’t they near the top in red zone defense last year too.

Plus the Cards have had defensive player of the week 2 of the 3 weeks.

Only a few Twitter grabs I know but some pretty reverential comments from Kliff and co about the Rams.

There's a line between respecting your opponent and being intimidated by them. Are we on the right side of it?

So @Shane could this be considered “transcended” talent and when he rallied to be the Jagd at home. I remember u still putting that label for stuff he suppose to do but not giving the due credit on when he did it.

Any given sunday, we have a chance, but they have all the advantage you could wish for.

Our D did show up but not entirely hopefully we can show the Rams that we can stop them and K1 and KK can score on them. Overall I want a good game, not that 2nd qrt blip of Jags game that lets any fan lose his composure.

If all stay healthy, we play well and get deafeated by a FG so be it, but I couldn't stand a destruction.

I’ve given him much credit you obviously only selectively read. Hell after like the first 3 weeks of his first season I outright asked for a big plate of crow about wanting to stand Pat and no draft him.

I’ve outright said he has balled out at times and is a budding star. But there are times when he makes pretty low rent mistakes that transcendent talents shouldn’t make. He’s on a great pace no doubt. But that doesn’t overshadow some pretty boneheaded mistakes he’s made to me. If you wanna give him a free pass on here like others when he screws up because of “stats” that’s on you. Have at it. There are many people on here with much more knowledge then me who call him out for his inability to find open WRs, panicking for no reason and leaving clean pockets, boneheaded ints, going out of bounds when he should stay in to burn clock at the end of the game with a lead, running out taking loss of yardage instead of throwing it away, leading the league 2 years In a row in batted balls etc etc.... Hes fun as hell to watch but at time very frustrating. All in all though I’m happy to have him. If you guys want to get your undies in a bunch because I won’t award him a game ball here and there go ahead. Lol

Just want to see the Cards be competitive and have a shot into the fourth quarter. Limit penalties and turnovers, and hit the hell out of Stafford

I aint Shane.... but I also puked in my mouth a bit with all that " Transcendent" "generational talent" crap that was spewed when we drafted him.

but I aint afraid to admit that Kyler has won me over... I am about a 95 percent believer..... still need to see more, I want to see him put the team on his back and will them to victory... I want to see the team go down by 4 with 1 minute left in the game, and Kyler orchestrates a drive with a flurry of pinpoint passes disecting the defense...and a pass to the endzone with three seconds left for the win.

the kid has shown that he is learning.... I aint gonna lie I expected him to play like he is now...last year.... Im not 100 percent convinced but I am on the bandwagon and I havent called him the magic midget in months.

would still feel better about him if he was 6'4

wish I could catch a game and talk him out of a game worn jersey,...just about the right size for my grand daughters fifth birthday present
