I aint Shane.... but I also puked in my mouth a bit with all that " Transcendent" "generational talent" crap that was spewed when we drafted him.

but I aint afraid to admit that Kyler has won me over... I am about a 95 percent believer..... still need to see more, I want to see him put the team on his back and will them to victory... I want to see the team go down by 4 with 1 minute left in the game, and Kyler orchestrates a drive with a flurry of pinpoint passes disecting the defense...and a pass to the endzone with three seconds left for the win.

the kid has shown that he is learning.... I aint gonna lie I expected him to play like he is now...last year.... Im not 100 percent convinced but I am on the bandwagon and I havent called him the magic midget in months.

would still feel better about him if he was 6'4

wish I could catch a game and talk him out of a game worn jersey,...just about the right size for my grand daughters fifth birthday present
That last paragraph = lmao

This not as much about Kingsbury VS McVay, but the fact that Aaron Donald will no longer have a push over to collapse the pocket when they contain Kyler. Kyler sucked as a pocket passer against the Rams because Donald pushed whatever weak arse center we had right into him. Granted Donald is a beast and will get his, but Rodney Hudson gives us a chance... again, the biggest free agent signing this year was Rodney Hudson, and I am still baffled when talking heads fail to mention him

getting Hudson was a great trade. I saw a game when he was with the raiders where he just manhandled donald,...shut him down. If he can do that two games a year for us for a few seasons that totally changes the dynamic of the matchup.

I am sure they are going to move Donald around to take advantage of our guards' present state but it's reassuring to have Hudson protecting the foundation :raccoon:

Will be watching our 3rd down conversions with interest. Feel that it's the final frontier for our offense. We're putting up great numbers regardless. Nail a few more 3rd downs and the sky's the limit

that is pretty bad, but matching that stat with our other offensive stats it would indicate we havent reached third down as often as most teams. which is good, because we obviously cant convert them.

This game will have an impact on the rest of the season , and my heartfelt belief is that we will go as far as Kliff Kingsberry will coach us . Preparation , Motivation is his responsibility as HC . We have the talent to win this game , to me the question is will we have the coaching , we shall see !!!

I tend to agree and I think the game plan going in is the most important part...which is a little scary because we havent shown to start games with a good plan. we tend to start vanilla, see what they throw at us for a half, then react and fight back after the break.

what scares me the most is that kliff and mcvay are buddies.... I had a buddy that used to sit around the barbecue drinking beers and tell everyone how exactly he was going to beat them in madden, trends he noticed, plays that will gash a certain defense on first downs, etc... then with that knowledge we would all sit down that night to play round robin and proceed to beat his ass, since he already told us how he is going to play us.....kliff strikes me as that guy....I am terrified that he is going to mcvays house for dinner the night before the game....and just spilling his guts in the guise of friendly smack talk.
it would also be nice to see joseph not start a game in prevent defense...I can hear him in the pre game huddle..." okay guys, when they snap the ball everybody stand up!".... the man is nails in the second half but it seems like he watches zero tape before a game,...has no clue what the opponent is going to do.
one of these days we will go into the half with a 20 point lead...make some adjustments, and come out and build on it....wont we?

I would think before the Jags we were top 10. A single bad game and the small sample size really effected the number. But yes, something to keep an eye on.

If you watched the PAts game the crowd noise was an issue they had to go silent count. Kyler is changing more plays at the LOS this year and we always have clock issues because of subbing and late play calls will all that be a problem if the crowd is as loud for our game?

Of course one way to keep the crowd noise down is get off to a fast start.

Watching this years crop of rookie QB's it makes you appreciate more how Kyler performed in 2019 as a rookie. We didn't win a lot of games because the roster sucked but certainly Kyler performed far better than any of the current crop of rookies from game 1. Even Lawrence, who has been billed as the next Andrew Luck.

I have been critical of his development curve which hasn't been as steep as I'd like, but no doubt it was far better from day 1.

Carrapolo in the "bad column" checks out when you watch their games.
He crushes us though. Cant really hold week 1 last year against him cause they were missing their top 2 wrs. Huge couple of games for Vance. We made Goff look like Joe Montana.

I thought the same thing but we were 3 for 9 vs MIN, so two bad games after going 7 for 13 vs TEN
