This is true. I think what people mean is this.

Win by less than 7 against a very bad injury riddled team and we are the same 5 win team as last year.

Blow them out and win by 14+ and maybe the last 2 games were a blip and we might be at least league average and an outside playoff shot.

Fans just looking for hope.

Yes please. We saw their immaturity as a team begin to shine through during the second half of the Washington game...Which bled over to the Detroit game...Which bled over to the Carolina game.

There were zero excuses to come out sluggish against the Panthers yet it happened. Nothing less than a massacre of the Jets will have me believing this team has turned a corner.
