Hopefully they open up the playbook for Tua, they didn't show much against the Rams. Probably a lot of college tape was used this week to scout him.

Kliff Kingsbury is “pretty doubtful” that CB Dre Kirkpatrick will play Sunday against the Dolphins. With Byron Murphy out with of COVID, the Cards are down CBs 2 and 3. Kingsbury said Kevin Peterson and De'Vante Bausby will get reps in their places.

Kingsbury made it sound like, because D.J. Foster knows the offense so well, he will be the likely backup running back to Chase Edmonds.

Interestingly, as far back as the Dallas game, in the locker room when Kingsbury was giving out game balls, Budda had no cast or brace on his wrist. The way he caught the game ball and handled it, you'd never guess he had recently had surgery!

Hopefully the football gods come through yet again & Bausby is the Justin Murray equivalent of last season. Im sure most of us are not in hurry for Sweezy to take his starting spot back

Bottom line...time to see what our offense can do toe to toe vs. a top defense.

I'd say the last very good one was during the 1st two games of the season.

NO turnovers and put up 26+ points.

We're definitely going to have to bring the heat and get to Tua early and often Sunday. Having to go deep in the secondary depth chart is worrisome. Start planting the seed of doubt early.

Bausby was CB3 all through Denver's offseason. Here's some mentions for him from Mile High Report and Twitter. I think you often get a more accurate feeling for a player by fan comments. For example, lots surprised by Bausby being sent to the PS in the comments at Mile High, whereas there wasn't a a single comment on Joseph being cut at Music City.

Bausby missed most of last year with a bad neck injury and I think Denver were concerned he wasn't quite there yet. They called him up to the roster and he played well but then they surprisingly sent him back and we nabbed him.

Dolphins at Cardinals

Dolphins RB Matt Breida (hamstring) is out and CB Jamal Perry (foot) is listed as questionable.

The Cardinals also ruled out a running back. Kenyan Drake (ankle) won’t play and neither will CB Dre Kirkpatrick (thigh). DT Jordan Phillips (hamstring) and LB Zeke Turner (toe) are considered questionable.
