I always enjoyed him, so did my non-Cardinals fan buddies when preseason games would air here in Vegas. He'll be missed on my end, but I know some hate him.
I loved the guy Solar. As a Philly dude, I got just enough of him to not be irritated by his style.

Oddly enough, part of me wishes it was the other way around. I respect Wolf, but his shtick bothers me more on the daily show than as the radio voice. It just sometimes feels like he's slogging his way through it when talking about non-football sports and EVERYTHING gets relayed back to football and his time in the league and "the bloodsport" and so on.

But, happy trails to him as the radio voice and I'm glad he's able to make this decision for his family.

Calvisi should be midday with Wolf or with Gambo - Luke & Burns are terribly boring. Burns takes on sports are terrible and his historical knowledge of AZ sports is pathetic
The am show of Bickley and Marotta is great..gets a little worse during the mid day and the drive time show is atrocious. Generally I turn off 98.7 at 10am and listen to national shows.

Wolf was entertaining but David Pasch the prime announcer is outstanding. No big deal on getting someone to fill Wolfs role. They could promote Paul Calvisi to fill that role and he would do fine.

I would prefer this. Calvisi and Pasch would be very good together.

Wolf shadow-fired because he couldn’t spit the party line any longer??

I don’t think that had anything to do with it. He will always be a company man.

His radio days are probably over though. I only listen to the radio shows when there aren’t any good NFL podcasts on.

No loss here, now we need KTAR to dump him. He's unlistenable most of the time. My only hope is that now that he's not member of the team that he won't be such a sycophant. There's not much hope though. He's drunk way too much kool-aid already.

Good luck to him. It’s nice to be able to spend more time with family and just do a little something to keep busy. He has put in his time and deserves it.

does anyone know what happened to Wolf or his family? I caught the tail end of a "thoughts and prayers" segment for Wolf.
