I'm concerned that Curt's ankle could give out and end his career. I wonder if such an injury, if pushed, could affect him after that, or if he could recuperate sufficiently for a normal after-baseball life.

I wonder who'll star in a movie about his life -- from Alaska to Shadow Mountain High . . . from the Phillies to the D'backs to the Red Sox . . . to imortality. It's a "natural".

I've been a National League fan for fifty-three years and that won't change now. Go, Redbirds.
