Hey now, I really liked Wild Things...aside from the shameless sex scenes, it was a pretty decent story line.

I agree, I actually really liked that movie, it was pretty entertaining.

I judge a film by entertainment and how thought provoking the film was. I watched Signs for the first time last night, and I came away wondering why anyone said it was a good movie.

That movie would have been a lot better if Neve Campbell hadn't been such a prude.

I highly respect Neve Campbell for keeping to her standards the way she has during her film career. It shows a lot of integrity to not just go nude because it will help along your career.

That said, DAMN, I wanted to see her naked!!! :D

How about "The Rugrats Movie".

My son was a fan of the Rugrats books and wanted to see the movie.

This movie was literally painful for me to sit through!
I kept thinking please let it be over soon....but it went on and on and on and on and on......

Nothing but whining screaming kids from start to finish....yeeesh!
See this movie if you want to experience what it is like to be a kindergarten teacher.

What about Scanners? That has got to be one of the worst movies ever made.

Any film that features someone's head exploding automatically gets excluded from the absolute lowest spot in my book. :D

Kind of as a follow up, I did some research on the list and it turns out that this chart only registers movies with 6,000 votes or more. So there are quite a few movies with lower ratings that don't have enough votes (Zombie Lake and City of the Living Dead both really stand out) to crack the list.

I can't believe this movie didn't make this list - HARD ROCK ZOMBIES - One of Producer Steve Golin's (Being John Malkovich, The Game, Seven, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - turts me, the best script I have ever read), Fifty First Kisses (Sandler's next flick with Drew Barrymore - also a good read)) first films -honestly one of the worst wretched pieces of crap to ever grace the screen.

This Rock Band comes into this small town for a show at the county fair and then are killed by the townspeople. Their roadie/groupie/girlfriend plays their music at their graves and they come back as Zombies to get revenge on the townspeople - the kicker and twist of at the end is classic - the Mayor (this movie is set in the 80s) ends up whipping off a mask at the end and is really Adolph Hitler! That is the worst movie of all time - anyone with connections to video stores know where I can find it again - it's absolute classic trash.

they should separate the list between the sequels and the other movies because most sequels are pretty bad.

i really think that get carter with stallone is the worst piece of crap movie i have ever seen. i couldn't even watch more than 30 minutes of it without getting up and asking for my money back at the ticket counter.

When I was going to school for film & video one of my classes involved us bringing in movies and critiquing them. Someone brought in a movie called "Feeders" (pretty sure) and it has got to be one of the worst movies ever. There is one scene where aliens are blowing up the city and cutting back and forth with the hero running away. The city scene was night while the guy-running-through-field scene was daytime. In another scene one guys socks change about 7 times. Continuity anyone? The UFO's are very obviously a pair of paper plates stuck together.

Have you seen Ricky-Oh? It has one seen where some big dude splats another guys head, if you watch the Daily Show they use that clip pretty regularly.

Come on! Lea Thompson and a terribly overacting Jeffrey Jones make Howard the Duck an unmitigated masterpiece! :D

On my planet, we only understand the trout.

:trout:

No I think on second thought, Leah Thompson as a punk rocker and a talking duck was pure genius. How that movie didn't become a blockbuster is beyond me!

Just to give everybody a head's up, in its first week the soon to be cult classic Gigli has already locked up the #2 spot. We've witnessed history here, people! From Justin To Kelly is #1 still, making the old champion the #3. Who wants to wager whether or not the dynamic duo of Jen and Ben can oust the American Idols?

Update: Gigli is now in sole control of the #1 spot. Sadly, the American Idols are delegated to the runner up spot with longtime champion Manos: Hands of Fate holding the candle at #3.

I absolutely can't wait to see Gigli. Im a firm believer that the American public generally is incapable of forming their own opinions, so this number 1 vote is based solely on the myriad of horrendous reviews this film is getting. While I love to watch an actress hack like J Lo and a pretentious worm like Affleck go up in flames over this film, and I fully expect it to be awful. I have a sick hope that I find it "awfully" good. I also dont think its going to turn out to be the worst film ever made.

I think calling it a future cult classic is probably dead on. No film so bad could ever be anything but. It jusy makes it sweeter that its two supposed big time stars stinking it up so bad.
