Why would anyone want to do this.

Nash isn't going to be revitalized by Dirk, Nash is simply old.

Why would anyone give up our ONLY piece to build around for several more years for a plain old version of the Mavericks, silly.

Nostalgia... seeing Nash and Dirk playing together again?

Now the Mavs might have some interest in Nash. That form of nostalgia actually might work with Nash and Dirk back together again with the Mavs along with Kidd. However, I do not see anyway this would ever happen.
