Answer to your question - as posed: No!

Answer to unposed question - Would you trade Leinart for Cutler straight up? Answer is: "Possibly."

A change of scenery might be good for both players and both teams.

But it really depends on how ownership, management and the coaching staff view each player from a talent standpoint.

And it would also depend on each club's take on the personality of both players (i.e. in Cutler, would we get a "competitor?" Or a perpetual malcontent)? The teams have inside info that we don't have.

Finally, I'd be inclined to hold out for more than a straight-up trade. After all, they're the ones who want to trade Cutler. We'd be very happy standing pat. In addition to Cutler, how about at least one pick - or a veteran Denver player who can help us?

Why do people climb Mt Everest? Because it is there. Why did the Cubs trade Lou Brock for Ernie Bogilio? Why did Boston sell the Babe to the Yankees? Why am I not rich?

Q: Why did Boston sell the Babe to the Yankees?

I'd trade Leinart for a 2nd and a 5th (as someone mentioned) and I know I'm in the minority but bear with me. First, I think we're loading up for the next two years with Warner and having two second round picks helps that window more than Leinart on the sideline with his cap on backwards. Second, there are still capable QB's on the market who could fill the backup role (namely Byron Leftwich).
