Everyone's going beasty, laying down some hits and following the ball. Whole dang defense is dangerous every play, I've waited my whole life for this. Our defense stood up while it was flat. Our offense tagged enough points when we couldn't run at all. This is real.

Sure it helped but don thinnk thats the only reason the D was off today.

I think it might have been the only reason they were off today. In the first 3 weeks this defense was able to get consistant pressure with 4 rushers, but in this game without DD they were forced to blitz to get pressure and it backfired a few times. Also he is a stud against the run and the Cards didn't do as good against the run as we are used to. Fact is that he draws a double team on most plays and that frees up other guys to beat their 1 on 1 match-ups.

No. Willis might be a better player, but there's this thing called a salary cap. D. Wash is a MUCH better value with that contract he took. He's way underpaid even after his extension.

Willis is the best DEFENDER in the league IMO.

He is the best overall player in the league.

One, Willis is playing great but not much better than Washington at the moment and Two, Washington is part of the team and I like the dude

I don't think he's playing better at all. He has 1 more tackle than Wash, but 10 less solo. Wash has 3 sacks, Willis 0. Wash 1 FF, Willis 0. AND Wash is a couple years younger younger

If you asked me last year, I'd have said the same thing (and then vomited). But, this year, I don't see a player out there that's had the impact of Daryl. I wouldn't trade him, period.
