Awesome hit. Would have been the first pick this year, but is not eligible for draft. One more year at school for him. Wishing him all the best.

Clowney does it almost every week, in fact he was relatively quiet in this game. I'm a homer, I know, but I've rarely scene an LT get away with such blatant holding. Lewan was grabbing his facemask. Still, he had a good game overall against Clowney.

At this point Jadeaveon is the favorite to be the #1 pick in 2014.

For those who arent aware of him, hes been projected as a future #1 overall pick since he was in High School.

Mostly because hes a physical freak like Peppers.

So, we will never have a pick low enough to take him. Also I believe hes a 4-3 DE. Good player. IMO, slightly overrated. But still very good.

He's rangey and would be a good 3-4 OLB at this point. As good as he is now, keep in mind that he is only a sophmore. He's better than he was last year.

I'd like to see him increase his endurance that's for sure. But he's added to his game from last year by picking up bullrush and insdie moves. Last year he was predominantly a speed rusher.

I'm no o-line coach, but on the play it looked like Lewan immediately dove inside and the TE did as well to supposedly pick up Clowney.. but the TE didn't even sniff him and just kept running up field. I'd put the miss on the TE, or better yet whoever called that blocking scheme in putting that blocking responsibility on the TE, over Lewan. Maybe I am wrong, but that's how I looked at it. The 3rd (close up) gif that BIM posted shows it the best.

Wow, that hit was 6 yards behind LOS

Also, what is to prevent Clowney's family from suing the NFL and NFLPA for discrimination? In baseball and basketball, athletes his age are muti-millionaires. If I was him, I would want no part of another year of college football. Yes, he can get a Lloyd's of London policy - but that's not the same coin.

Agree with you.Sure looks like the TE 81 missed Clowney.Reading the play by play.Michigan averaged over 5 yards a carry running at Clowneys side.Clowney had no sacks but athe monster hit.Lewan did fairly well.
