Wow, Defense can't cover a screen pass to save their lives.

Hope they're prepared for it next week, I'm guessing they'll see a heavy dose.

That has been a Cardinal mystery for as long as I have been a fan and through a plethura of coaches. We have NEVER covered screens well for some reason.

I thought the defense was poor all round today, considering we knew the Bears would throw every down.
Whenever we are in that situation we get closed down, but the bears looked like they could move the ball at will, especially in the second half.

A screen pass to Chris Johnson can be lethal.Where have they been hiding all year.First time I've watched them all season today.Amazing they lost that many.

Who do we have with speed to catch Johnson? Thats gonna be crazy.Beating the 9ers today was just no easy feat.Until that qb is forced to win a game. He'll always throw it away to a good to great defense.

The Cardinals cannot run screens on offense, or defend them on defense.

I have no idea why, but it has always been that way.

Cutler is a top five QB in my opinion. But the screen pass defense was terrible. Hopefully Gerald Hayes is back next week. Our guys could not get off blocks at all in the screen game. That and all four rushers continued to the QB instead of breaking off their rush and going to the screen.

That basically sums it up. You live by the blitz, you die by the blitz. One of the most effective plays against the blitz is the screen for the reasons mentioned above.

Really? P. Manning, Warner, Rivers, Brees, McNabb, Brady, Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Palmer, Schaub, Favre, E. Manning, Romo are all better QBs. Ryan, Flacco and Orton are better leaders. Hasselbeck behind a good OL is a better QB as well.

I can see an argument for top 15 maybe but top 5? Only category he is in the top 5 among passers is INTs and thats not good.

Still think he is top eight or so. Give him a decent offensive line, a running game, and some real receivers and see what happens.

Manning, Brady, Big Ben, and Brees are obviously in a category of their own. He is not in that area code.
