Another case of a college QB coming from a great team loaded with so much talent, who has not developed the skillset needed. Throwing with unlimited protection to a bevy of wide open receivers does not necessarily make that QB "great". Very few QBs have the ability to make their teams great.

I think the biggest misstep Rivera did (not to defend Haskins) is allowing him to start, the same week he had his Captain status removed for the strip club/covid violation incident. Haskins should have been benched for the rest of the season, regardless of QB health issues.

You basically hit the genetic lottery having an opportunity of a life time in being a starting NFL qb.

I gotta think though, the game is probably just too fast. Or he can't process it very well.

And then when you are not in the play book and arrogant you look like garbage despite having a top 5 defense behind you and a very solid Washington offense to roll with.


To have all that and still be failing. Even with the poopy attitude lets me know he just cant play the game at this level.

In fact, I think if his team had a healthy Alex Smith last week, Haskins would’ve been cut last week.
