Zay Jones was a decent signing and the receiver room got better. Wilson is that young receiver that one wonders how good he can be. He showed flashes and then would disappear. But now the Cards have some size out there between the TEs, WRs, and RBs. I'm hoping they surprise this season and score some points. Football is just so much better when the Cards are good. The whole vibe, the excitement makes Football Season awesome. Why not the Cards. Any pass rush, run D improvement will be a trickle down effect for the whole team and will allow the running game to be more involved in the game script.

Talking with my nephew he said Zay was a great teammate and wide receiver. His only problem was staying healthy. I think he should end up as our number three.

He's actually played in 15-17 games every year of his career until last year, when he did get injured and played in 9. He doesn't have a history of being injured and unable to play.

Yes he’s been able to play which is great. His injuries have been minor and not keeping him from playing. My nephew said he would have a knee that would bother him. More of a nagging injury not one that would keep him from playing.

The fact that anyone thinks there is a high degree of likelihood that Weaver or Palmer becomes anything at the NFL level is extremely laughable. There is a chance, but it's in the neighborhood of a 10% or less chance.

Your can't go into the season with a rookie at #1, oft injured second year player with promise, a 5'7" neat player who was undrafted, couple of below average vets. 6th round rookie and an undrafted rolevel.
You need an established top 3 vet to help the unit. They'll have thier struggles, even with Zay, but he brings experience to help these guys grow, while being able to play WR at a decent level.

Yeah it would be roster mismanagement to go the approach Mitch is talking about.
I'd say that the Cardinals probably want to keep six wide receivers just based on signing Zay Jones and Chris Moore to go along with the group they have.
Harrison, Wilson, Dortch, and Jones are probably locks. That means that Moore, Pascal, Palmer, and Weaver are likely competing for two spots. Teams do like to see draft picks make it so Palmer has a little bit of a leg up. Pascal only has $750k guaranteed, Moore $1m, Weaver 250k.

This should be a solid signing if he’s healthy. Jones is a solid fit being very competitive and a real team first player. He runs good routes but does have some difficulty getting separation. He has excellent hands and high points well. He’s not afraid to go over the middle. The real key with this guy is play design. You have to scheme well to get him open. He’ll compete with Wilson for the number 2 spot. Neither player is especially fast, so Harrison remains the deep threat. Still he’s durable, a willing blocker and solid in the red zone. I would have liked more speed but he’s happy being a complimentary player.
