Well if you buy into K9's "jimmy's and joe's" right now that's about how long it will be this fall for the Cards to go 0-6. Unless they get a very early bye week.

One question. If the Cards are rebuilding and trying to get younger why are they signing 35 year old Safeties?

Rugby IMO BA is already dead man walking, he's stands almost no chance given the way a pretty damn good defense was broken up & how inept we are offensively. Unless the QB gods finally grant our wishes of finally drafting a great QB we will go 3-13, 4-12 & 5-11 at best & be right back we are today!!!

Hmmm I wonder if #11, #58 & #93 are going to like that? Do u think #21 isn't watching all this closely in us wanting to resign him?

We didn't need to rebuild, we needed to re-tool. We needed to find a QB. We needed improve the offensive line. We needed to get rid of Stewart Bradley and Kevin Kolb. We needed a rush OLB. We didn't need to replace 5 players from our secondary. We need to upgrade at RB, not get one with similar issues and limitations for a year.

Arians has too many holes to fill in the two years he will last and he still doesn't have a QB. I plan on going through this process again in 2015 because Arians can't get us to 8-8 in two years with all of the holes he and Keim have created.

If by "putting a serious stamp on" you mean "taking a serious dumb on" than yes, you are correct .

I'm the last thing from a kool aider but I'm not upset by the moves except for Rhodes. My father is a skins fan and he said Alexander is gonna be a great player for us. Arians loves powers and I honestly believe if we get decent QB play we will be competitive.

And this is the point. I will never say that Adrian Wilson, William Gay, Kerry Rhodes and Chris Wells weren't replaceable players. They all have their flaws. My point is that you only have so many resources to replace them and address your other needs. Phasing out players is a part of the game, but it does you no good if you don't have a player who is an upgrade from that player. We can all say that Adrian Wilson's level of play was declining, but even at that diminished level, he is better than both Yeremiah Bell and Rashad Johnson. Wells had his issues, but is Mendenhall really 1 mil better than him when they both would have been off our roster in 2014? The QB situation is a money issue and I am fine with that, but we signed unproven 29 year old Alexander to play WOLB for 3+ mil when for 7.5 mil we might have been able to sign 27 year old Cliff Avril who has 29 sacks over the past 3 years.

I can stomach cutting Rhodes, Wilson, Gay and Wells to sign a productive pass rusher in Cliff Avril. What I can't stomach is using that money to sign guys like Alexander, Bell, and Rashad Johnson.
