I still stick by what I said the day we traded for him...he's still talented but it comes down to blocking better. The 2 go hand in hand.

So far so good, but it's only a half!

If he can sustain this it’s an awesome get!

I mean, you saw that in 2014 he averaged 4.5 yards a carry, and had way over a thousand yards right? That between now and then he was more or less resting or rehabbing, so that he has fresh legs? And finally that he would come in here with a mountain sized chip on his shoulder?

It didn't take a rocket scientist to know that it was foolish to think he would average less than 3.5 yards a carry.

I'm going to give you and the rest of the haters the benefit of the doubt and assume that you have watched AP play football before, and so I really can't understand why you think he would preform worse than CJ did. It's laughable, and a lot of people lost a lot of credibility in the last 72 hours.

Lol... anyone here that thinks so much about themselves that they worry about their "credibility" needs to get a life.

As far as I'm concerned, It's a message board and all in fun and I'm always happy to be proven wrong when it means any of my teams are better than I thought they'd be!

That's all well and good sir. The problem though is that the grown ups would sometimes like to have an intelligent discussion without the adolescents turning the conversation into a shouting match with their condescending, sarcastic, and ultimately extremely foolish points of view.

Thank you for the scolding Mr. Grown Up!

I mean... how grown up is it to come on to multiple threads where all the people are HAPPILY eating crow and you come on here to BASH THEM? Because it wasn't enough for those people to admit they were wrong... apparently they just need to shut up, look foolish and maybe take a couple whippings before the "grown ups" are satisfied.

People not just being happy today but ALSO trying to start fights with other fans who are trying to enjoy the game are the grown ups.

Love this board! It's a constant source of entertainment.

It's amazing isn't it. When the Cards where killing it in 2015, there were still fights going back and forth rather then just enjoying the wins. Entertaining indeed!!

Why don’t you give us a list of 32 yr or older backs since they’ve been playing 16 games a year that have started & averaged 3.5 yds a carry?

This was sarcasm. In the AP trade post that were some that had said why did we trade future picks for a player over his prime when we can get young talent with it.

And, many also said it cost us in our ability to trade up which is even more of a joke.

All we did was trade a sixth round pick and take on his salary. NO ate his signing bonus. We could've cut him 10 minutes after this game and removed him from the cap. It was SOOOO low risk.
