I was one of the few that, at least for now, was right about AP. So what. I’m definitely wrong more than I’m right. Just thrilled he played lights out & we managed to win. I based my position on the fact that AP has always performed when he had a chip on his shoulder. Will it last? I hope it does until we can get DJ back in the lineup. Now if we can only convince Strahan to come out of retirement to help our poo defense!!!

AP runs like one leg is 2 inches shorter than the other. He isn't going to be our work horse for 10 (and god willing more) games, but he is for sure a potent weapon.

I like the way the team played today. Coaching still needs improvement.

True.

No way BA can turn this team into the 1 Thesmel wants (60 runs) when he does is there? Lol

I never wanted that - that's your alls made up crap - I got what I wanted balanced - effective play action - helping the pass game, oline, QB, defense and special teams. We were balanced today and it looked really good to me - now tighten up the run blocking fouls and teach the defense that they can play solid without taking huge risks every play - same with offense - I'm a happy fan

And will AD be happy being DJs back up?

He better be... Over if he keeps running like that I wouldn't be opposed to having them both on the field at the same time then you never know what's coming...

Considering DJ will have been out so long I'd be happy with them bringing him back slowly. Keep AP the starter (if his success continues) and bring in DJ as third down/chance of pace back. Maybe 10-15 touches over the end of the season. If that works next year becomes the head scratcher because I think AP is under contract next year too, right?

Well honestly if AP plays this way every game he SHOULD be the starter and use DJ as change of pace and receiving back.
Someone brought up the okoye/word backfield. But this one would likely be even better if both are healthy and plying up to their abilities.

Peterson has this fear factor which you could just feel in looking at the Bucs, they really where in shock. Granted, he no longer has the deep speed but he is still fast enough with more than an ample burst, vision is there, still has the power and his agility really freaked me out. Peterson has this name, a name he earned, and that in itself in his present state is enough to make a defense preoccupied the whole game. The Rams are going to look at the tape, they are going to see the big run which was called back, and they are going to fear the icon which is Peterson... which should mean Carson can breath and did you see how open it made our WRs while the secondary was having nightmares of the thought of Peterson getting into their space

Thank you for the scolding Mr. Grown Up!

I mean... how grown up is it to come on to multiple threads where all the people are HAPPILY eating crow and you come on here to BASH THEM? Because it wasn't enough for those people to admit they were wrong... apparently they just need to shut up, look foolish and maybe take a couple whippings before the "grown ups" are satisfied.

People not just being happy today but ALSO trying to start fights with other fans who are trying to enjoy the game are the grown ups.

Love this board! It's a constant source of entertainment.

I do not doubt your allegiance to the Cardinals Cheese. You've been on this board for 14 years, and we've all been through thick and thin together. I know it makes you happy when they win.

But when things go south, both you and your brother love to stir up the lynch mobs. It gets tiresome.

It is just a message board however, that's true. Just keep in mind that a lot people take their allegiance to the Cardinals fairly seriously.

Have a good evening Cheese. Talk to you later man.

Was at the game toady, boy what a start by AD!!! The crowd and team loved it. First half was one of best that the Cards have played in a long time. Yeah the Bucs came close but I never felt that the Cards would blow it. I really didn't know what AD had left but am really glad that we got him. Its just one game but we really needed this win and AD was the difference maker. I wouldn't worry about who starts when DJ comes back as we really don't know when that will happen. Cards are definitely not going to rush him back or put to much pressure on him. I just want to enjoy the moment.

I was against the trade because I'm not a AP fan because of the switching and his attitude towards the Vikings as that entire situation unfolded. I didn't get to see the game yet, I'm on vaca in the OBX but have it recorded at home. Just looking at the #'s and catching some highlights and I was thrilled with his and the entire teams play in the 1st half.

How much of it was AP being AP and how much was it due to improved Oline play. I still contend that if the Oline plays decent this team can make the playoffs. It appears AP is helping the Oline which in turn allows Palmer to be a very good QB,

So far this is mighty tasty crow.
